Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for authenticating a user account with a synchronized content management system are disclosed. A synchronized online content management system may receive a request from a client device to access content in the content management system via a web browser that is running on the client device. The system may identify that a client-side application for the content management system has been installed on the client device and that the client-side application is already logged into a user account with the content management system. The system can cause the web browser to open a local host connection to the client-side application such that the web browser may be able to obtain from the client application some user account identifying information for the user account. The system can then cause the web browser to log into the user account by using the user account identifying information.

An upper reinforcement layer is positioned between the upper emittance layer and the core material. Systems and methods are provided for creating shared virtual spaces using a client device. For example, the disclosed systems receive a request from a user to share one or more digital content items with other users via a shared virtual space. The disclosed systems queue a request to send data to a content management system to create the shared virtual space. In some instances, the disclosed systems can determine that a connection between a user's client device and the content management system is below a threshold connectivity, and then simulate an online experience for the user despite the poor connection.

Systems and methods for creating shared virtual spaces

Various embodiments of the present technology enable users to sign in to an account without a password. For example, when receiving a request to register a device with an account, a user can be prompted to enter their email address. In response, two tokens are generated. A first token is sent to a client application on the device and the second token is sent to the user's email. The user can then only login to their account with the device if the device has both tokens. Thus, if someone intercepts the email, they will be unable to login from another device since they don't have the first token. If the client token and email token cannot be automatically joined on the same device, a web page showing a code can be displayed on a first device, which can be entered on the second device to finish login process.

No password user account access

Embodiments are provided for ephemeral eventing. Ephemeral eventing may involve sending metadata portions associated with content items from a user device to a content management system prior to uploading the content portions of the content items. The content management system may then assign the content items to one or more events. The event assignments may then be sent back to the user device, allowing the content items to be locally displayed according to their events as if the content items had already been uploaded to the content management system.

A messaging client receives a reference to a content item stored on a content management system and receives, from the content management system, a set of sharing options for the content item. The set of sharing options is presented to the user via the messaging client and a user selection of sharing options is received. The messaging client sends the user selection of sharing options to the content management system, wherein the content management system is configured to apply the user selection of sharing options to the content item.

A synchronized content management system may receive an identifier via a first access platform. The identifier may be associated with a device. The content management system can generate a link based on the identifier and the device. The link may be then send to the device by using the identifier. When accessed by the device, the link may authenticate a user account associated with the device at a second access platform.

Systems and methods are provided for creating shared virtual spaces ('rooms'). A room may be created when a user first shares images with another user. A user may send a request to a content management system to share one or more images with various contacts. In response, a room is created by the content management system in which a copy of each image is stored. Images added to a room are copied to a separate 'rooms' database, and &#x201c;locked,&#x201d; being saved in the room for a period of time, which may be indefinitely. Changes made by the user to a room via a user device may be displayed as soon as indicated, without waiting for the information to be sent to a system server or its state to be made consistent with that of the user device. Room activity notifications may be sent to members in various ways.

The disclosed invention is a means of transporting personal items such as those commonly taken to do shopping, and storing them in an easily accessible manner to a shopping cart or stroller handle. The device can also include a second side for children riding in the child's seat of a shopping cart, thereby allowing storage for items of entertainment to the child or even a pillow for their comfort during the shopping excursion. The device is comprised of one or more flaps, at least some of the flaps including pockets that are capable of distinctively storing items that would be necessary to a shopper or child, whichever the case may be. The invention includes a pliable portion that is capable of flexing around and fastening to the handle of a shopping cart or stroller and in doing so creating accessible pockets that are exclusive to each the child and the shopper. Lowered openings of the pockets on the user's flap restricts a small child's access to the shopper's items that are not intended for the child to encounter. Cover flaps can also be used to restrict accessibility to some or all pockets by providing a barrier to the child as well as a potential thief yet still providing easy accessibility to the user. The invention can be removably attached to the handle if the shopper brings their own to the store or permanently secured to the handle as would be the case if the invention is provided as an accessory to the cart.
