A working instrument for use in a resectoscope with a pushing force-transmitting elongated support, whose proximal end area includes an attachment section for attachment in a resectoscope, and whose distal end area carries a working device. The working instrument includes, in its distal end area, a handle element. The handle element projects in a distal direction beyond the support and the working device and is connected to the working instrument so as to transmit pushing forces and can be removed.

A urological resectoscope includes a main casing and an optic guide plate mounted proximally to and a fixed distance from the main casing. A slider is displaceably guided between the main casing and the optic guide plate. A drive rod is detachably affixed to the slider at a first distance from an optic tube longitudinally passing through the resectoscope and in a first angular position to the grip, said rod running from the slider, parallel to the optic tube, through the main casing and then in a second angular position relative to the optic tube and at a second, minute distance from it, and the optic tube together with matched, tightly enclosing stem tube of matched cross-section running as far as said stem tube's distal end zone, the drive rod supporting a surgical implement, characterized in that a free space corresponding at least to the excursion of the drive rod is provided in the main casing and is fitted in the region of the free space with a deviation site where it is pivoted out of the first angular position and first distance from said optic tube into the second angular position and the second distance.

Urological resectoscope for children

A urological resectoscope having an outer stem fitted with orifices at its distal terminal zone and an inner stem, both stems being tubular and metallic and being sealed from each other in the distal end zone and being affixed to each other, optionally in detachable manner, and to a main case. The resectoscope also includes an electrode support running longitudinally through the inner stem and bearing an hf-loaded cutting loop at its distal end. Liquid hookups feed liquid into the inner stem and drain liquid from an annular duct defined between the inner and outer stems. A distally affixed tubular insulating shell is disposed between the inner and outer stems and affixed to the outer stem.

Urological resectoscope having an insulating case

A urological resectoscope having an axially extending shaft tube, the proximal end thereof being fixed to a main body. A sliding body is proximally positioned in relation to the main body, and can slide in a parallel manner in relation to the axis thereof. The sliding body includes a receiver, a fixing device and a contacting device. An electrode which can be subjected to a high frequency, including an electrode carrier having one external, insulated conductive wire, can be positioned in the resectoscope such that it can axially slide beyond the distal end of the shaft tube. In the assembly position, the electrode carrier extends through the shaft tube and the main body into the receiver, and can be fixed thereto by the fixing device and contacted therein by the contacting device. The contacting device defines an opening of the sliding body, the opening completely cutting through in a transversal direction relative to the receiver, and extends perpendicularly relative thereto, to a depth on the other side thereof. In the contacted state, the contacting device includes a clamping connector that is designed for pivotable clamping on a contact section of the electrode carrier.

An endoscope fill bar including a device to change the cross-section of a rounded end zone of the fill bar that protects distally beyond the endoscope distal end when the fill bar is in its functional position. The cross-sectional altering device is driven by an adjusting system mounted on the fill bar and through an adjustment link, and includes a lever resting at the distal end zone in a spreading-out and retracting manner.
