The invention relates to a cable gathering device (wire stacker) () for processing electrical or optical lines (), such as wires, cables, line bundles, optical fibers etc. comprising a platform () which can be tilted downwards which has an accommodating region () for accommodating one or more lines () after a processing step, characterized in that the platform () has a removal region () adjoining the accommodating region (), wherein lines () located in the accommodating region () can be brought into the removal region () by tilting the platform () downwards, from which the lines () can be removed and wherein the lines () are retained in the removal region () by retaining means () in the tilted position of the platform ().

Cable gathering device (wire stacker)

A cable transport device having a pivotably mounted cable transporter, a first drive means connected in a stationary manner to a base frame and intended for achieving an exactly defined pivot movement of the cable transporter around a pivot axis and a second drive means for synchronous driving of at least two cooperating pressure rollers. The second drive means with a drive axle for the pressure rollers is connected in a stationary manner to the base frame, and the drive axle of the second drive means coincides with the pivot axis for the cable transporter. In additional versions, the second drive means with a drive axle for the pressure rollers is also connected in a stationary manner to the base frame, and the rollers' axes of rotation are parallel to one another and parallel to a common pitch axis. In these versions, transmission of the drive movement to the toothed belt driving the pressure rollers is effected via a toothed belt which is tensioned symmetrically to the center of rotation of the pivot axis between a first intermediate shaft arranged on a base plate of the cable transporter and a second intermediate shaft fixed to the machine frame, the pitch axis of the cable transporter being identical to the axis of the first intermediate shaft. The cable transport device may be equipped with a guide sleeve that includes a grooved plate and a cover plate that may be replaced for adaptation to different cable diameters and for correction of the cable position.

Cable transport device

A bias applicator applies prebiasing initial force acting at least codirectionally to crimping force reaction that is separatory to the first and second crimping tools. A texturing machine for draw texturing a plurality of synthetic multi-filament yarns and which includes a plurality of side by side processing stations. Each of the processing stations comprises a plurality of processing units for advancing, texturing, drawing, and winding the yarn. At least one of the processing units is driven by an electrical individual drive, with the individual drives of the processing units of adjacent processing stations being controlled by a common group frequency changer. To enable a separate connection and disconnection of the individual drives with a simultaneous group control, the electrical individual drive of each processing unit includes an asynchronous unit and a synchronous unit. In the case of a predetermined desired frequency, this permits an automatic startup and maintenance of the desired frequency, which leads to a high degree of uniformity of the yarn treatment in each processing station.

Yarn false twist texturing machine

A texturing machine for crimping an advancing yarn and which includes a plurality of processing units and a plurality of feed systems. At least one of the feed systems is formed by a driven feed roll and a rotatable guide roll mounted in cantilever fashion on a machine frame, and about which the yarn is looped. A threading device is associated with the rolls for an initial threadup of the yarn before the start of the process, and by which it is possible to lay the advancing yarn against the circumference of the rolls with a total looping greater than 360&#xb0;.

Texturing machine and method of threading an advancing yarn

A yarn false twist texturing machine for texturing multifilament synthetic yarns (), wherein a heating device and a false twist unit are arranged within a false twist zone. An aftertreatment zone accommodates a second heating device and a countertwist device. The countertwist device is used to remove any residual twist that is left in the yarn by the false twist unit. To be able to perform a selective treatment by the countertwist device, a first embodiment provides for a twist imparting member yarn guide means for guiding the yarn () and being adapted for reciprocal movement between an idle position for not treating the yarn () or for threading it and an operating position for treating the yarn (). In a second embodiment, the countertwist device comprises a movable twist imparting member (), which is adapted for reciprocal movement between an idle position for not treating or for threading the yarn () and an operating position for treating the yarn () by twisting it.

A texturing machine for producing a crimped yarn and which has a plurality of serially arranged yarn processing units leading to a takeup device. A threading device is provided for threading a yarn for the first time before the start of a process. For this purpose, the threading device comprises at least one guide tube and an air injector connected thereto, with the guide tube including a suction inlet for receiving the yarn. In accordance with the invention, a cutting device is arranged in the region of the suction inlet of the guide tube, with the cutting device cutting the yarn while being threaded into the suction inlet.

Yarn texturing machine

A method and apparatus for controlling a machine for false twist texturing a plurality of synthetic filament yarns and which includes a plurality of side by side processing stations. The plurality of processing stations are divided into a plurality of sections, with each section comprising a plurality of processing stations. The processing stations of each of the sections are monitored and controlled independently of the processing stations of adjacent sections, so that the processing of the yarns in each section is independent of the processing of the yarns in adjacent sections.

Method and apparatus for controlling a yarn false twist texturing machine

The invention relates to a false twist texturing machine and to a method of texturing synthetic yarns in, in each case, one processing point, in which a twist-stopping device, a heating device, a cooling device and a false twisting unit are disposed inside a false twisting zone. The yarn is withdrawn from the false twisting zone by means of a delivery mechanism. According to the invention, the twist-stopping device takes the form of a rotatable transport roller, around which the yarn is at least partially wrapped in a peripheral direction and which is drivable by a drive in such a way that the yarn is braked or delivered, so that the yarn tensile force is adjustable inside the false twisting zone.

False twist texturizing machine

A texturing machine is described which consists of a plurality of processing-points for thermoplastic threads. A feed bobbin, a first delivery mechanism, an elongated first heating device, an elongated cooling device, a false-twist unit, a second delivery mechanism and also a winding-up device are arranged at each processing-point. In this connection several feed bobbins are arranged above one another in a creel frame, and several winding-up devices are arranged above one another in a winding frame. The first delivery mechanism, the heater and the cooling device are located above the frames. In order to guarantee a careful course of the thread as well as operability, the first delivery mechanism is arranged together with a drive in an operational position directly upstream of the inlet of the first heating device. In this connection it is possible, with a view to piecing a thread, for the first delivery mechanism with or without the drive to be adjusted in its location into an operating position below the operational position in such a way that the delivery mechanism is not capable of being driven in the operating position.
