A motor vehicle front part includes: a heat exchanger; a motorized fan, which is assigned to the heat exchanger; and a two-path cooling air arrangement for controlling the air feed to the heat exchanger. The cooling air arrangement includes: an upper air inlet opening, which opens substantially toward the front; an upper flap arrangement, which corresponds to the upper air inlet opening and is actuated by motor; a lower air inlet opening, which opens substantially toward the bottom; and a lower flap arrangement, which corresponds to the lower air inlet opening and is actuated by motor. The upper air inlet opening and the lower air inlet opening are arranged upstream of the heat exchanger. A lower air outlet is downstream of the heat exchanger in an undertray of the vehicle.

A cooling air supply device for a motor vehicle has a motor vehicle body with an underbody and a unit. The cooling air supply device configured to receive cooling air in the form of an air flow which flows along the underbody counter to the direction of travel, and configured to be self-regulating. The cooling air supply device having a molded part, which is pivotable about an axis of rotation, has an outer surface facing away from the underbody, and has a convex curvature relative to the underbody. A flow duct is between the underbody and the molded part, the flow duct being configured to allow the air flow to be conducted to the unit.

A motor vehicle front end has a heat exchanger and a cooling-air mechanism for controlling a supply of air to the heat exchanger. The cooling-air mechanism includes: a downwardly opening air inlet opening; and an air flap, which corresponds to the air inlet opening, and which, at its top edge, is articulatable on a body part in a pivotable manner via a pivot joint. The air flap is configured such that, in its closed position, it closes off the air inlet opening, and in its operative position, it opens up the air inlet opening, and as seen in a direction of travel of the motor vehicle, is situated in front of the air inlet opening.

An air-directing device for a motor-vehicle body includes an air-directing element having a longitudinal axis and being accommodated in a guide element of the air-directing device. The air directing device additionally includes a flow channel formed in between the guide element and the air-directing element, wherein flow can take place through the flow channel starting from an entry opening, which faces toward a front of the motor-vehicle body, and extending through an exit opening, which faces away from the entry opening. The air-directing device is designed so that the air flowing through the flow channel is guided thereby such that it can flow out of the exit opening transversely to an outer contour of the air-directing element.

A device for cooling a transmission unit having front cooling fins and rear cooling fins includes a front air guiding blade and a rear air guiding blade. The front air guiding blade is configured to guide air from the underbody flow to the front cooling fins. The rear air guiding blade is configured to guide air from the underbody flow to the rear cooling fins.

A motor vehicle exterior mirror has a curved mirror housing, a housing foot with which the mirror housing can be fixed to the motor vehicle, and a reflective mirror body arranged in an opening on the rear of the mirror housing. A separation edge extends approximately in the transverse direction on the underside of the mirror housing and elevated guide elements are provided on the underside of the mirror housing adjoining the separation edge toward the front. The guide elements prevent rainwater from being able to flow away in the proximal direction on the underside of the mirror housing.
