The present teachings provide a method and device of virtually sharing physical contents across multiple sessions. The teachings provide retrieving, from a data store, virtual whiteboard content derived from a first whiteboard session. The virtual whiteboard content includes first physical data from a physical surface, first virtual data from a virtual whiteboard, first metadata corresponding to one or both of the first virtual data or the first physical data. The virtual content is categorized based on the first metadata. The categorized virtual content is transmitted as an image stream according to the retrieved virtual whiteboard content to a client device in a location of the physical surface to cause the image stream to be presented on the physical surface or a second physical surface during a second whiteboard session. The data store is updated with second content elements obtained from the physical surface during the second whiteboard session.

Virtually sharing content as annotations onto a physical surface over multiple sessions

Methods and systems provide for an active server proxy presentation for sign language interpreters within a video communication session. In one embodiment, a method presents a user interface for each of a number of client devices connected to a communication session, with each UI including one or more video feeds associated with participants of the communication session. The method receives an indication that a first participant is designating a second participant as a sign language interpreter who will perform voicing for the first participant. The method then determines that the second participant is performing voicing for the first participant, then presents, within the UIs of at least a subset of the client devices, a video feed associated with the first participant in a highlighted fashion concurrently to the second participant performing the voicing for the first participant.

Systems and methods for intelligent detection of sensitive data within a communication platform are disclosed. The system displays a communication interface for a communication platform. The communication interface includes a first input section for entering input messages by a sending user account and a display section for displaying message information received by the sending user account from other user accounts. The system determines a sensitive messaging profile for the sending user account. The system receives an input message associated with the sending user account. The system detects sensitive information in the input message by using a trained machine learning (ML) algorithm to analyze the input message based on the sensitive messaging profile. The system transmits the sensitive information to one or more receiving user accounts within a container component with an expiration time value based on at least the sensitive messaging profile.

Intelligent detection of sensitive data within a communication platform

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for containment of sensitive data within a communication platform. The system displays a communication interface including a first input section for receiving an input message associated with a sending user account, and a display section for displaying message information received by the sending user account from other user accounts. The system determines a requirement to input sensitive information. The system then displays a sensitive data user interface including second input section for receiving a sensitive message, and an interface control for setting an expiration time value for the sensitive message.

Dynamic access control for sensitive information

Methods and systems provide for a sign language interpreter view within a video communication session. In one embodiment, a method presents a user interface ('UI') for each of a number of client devices connected to a communication session, each UI including one or more video feeds associated with participants of the communication session. The method receives a request from a first participant to be presented with a sign language interpreter ('SLI') view within the UI; determines that a second participant is to be designated as a sign language interpreter for the communication session; and presents, within the UI of a client device associated with the first participant, an SLI view including at least a video feed of the second participant and a video feed of a highlighted speaker being interpreted by the second participant.

The system determines or retrieves a sensitive messaging profile for the sending user account, then receives an input message associated with the sending user account. The system detects that the input message comprises sensitive information, and transmits a sensitive message to one or more receiving user accounts within a sensitive container component, with the sensitive message including at least a subset of the input message.
