A coolant pump assembly includes an electric coolant pump for a motor vehicle. The electric coolant pump includes a multi-part pump housing and an electric drive unit arranged in the multi-part pump housing. The multi-pat housing includes a coolant inlet, a coolant outlet, and a fastening assembly via which the electric coolant pump is detachably connected in an engine compartment to an engine component and/or to a body part. The fastening assembly includes at least one screw connection and at least one interlocking connection.

Coolant pump assembly

An electric fluid pump for a motor vehicle includes a housing composite, a pump unit, a drive motor, a rotor shaft, and a motor controller which controls the drive motor. The housing composite defines a pump space, which includes a pump rotor space wherein a pump rotor of the pump unit is arranged, and a motor space wherein the drive motor is arranged, which together comprise a common end wall. The drive motor includes a motor stator, a motor coil arrangement, and a motor rotor. The rotor shaft co-rotatably connected to the motor rotor, and is arranged through the common end wall to rotate jointly with the pump rotor. The common end wall is a mounting wall part on which at least the motor controller is arranged. The motor coil arrangement is arranged on the motor stator and is provided on a side which is opposite to the motor controller.

Electric fluid pump for a motor vehicle

A motor vehicle auxiliary assembly electric motor includes a motor stator with stator coils. The motor stator is electronically commutated. A control electronics system drives the stator coils and is potted in a cast body. An electronics chamber is closed-off and has the control electronics system and the cast body arranged therein. A gas chamber is arranged adjacent to the cast body. A pressure equalization element ventilates and vents the gas chamber. An aeration shaft is arranged to pass through the cast body and fluidically connects the gas chamber to the atmosphere. The pressure equalization element is fluidically associated with the aeration shaft.

Motor vehicle auxiliary assembly electric motor

A motor vehicle coolant pump for supplying coolant to an engine includes a two-part pump housing comprising a pump rotor housing part and a body housing part. The pump rotor housing part comprises a first mounting flange, and the body housing part comprises a second mounting flange which together fix the housing parts with respect to each other and allow a mounting of the housing parts on each other in every rotary position. A pump rotor is arranged in the pump rotor housing part. An axial coolant inlet and a tangential coolant outlet are provided on the pump rotor housing part. A rotary fixation comprises a recess at the pump rotor housing part and a nose which engages in the recess. The rotary fixation allows the pump rotor housing part and the body housing part to be mounted with respect to each other in only one single rotational angle.

Motor vehicle coolant pump

The present invention relates to a method for feedback of states of an electric component to an engine control device of an internal combustion engine using a control unit for the electric component including a detection device configured to detect faults. The method includes configuring the control unit, connecting the control unit to the engine control device via a signal line, receiving a PWM signal generated in the engine control device, tying the signal line to ground for a feedback of data of the electric component to the engine control device; and identifying a fault based on a duration of the connection to ground.

Method for feedback of states of an electric component to an engine control device of an internal combustion engine

A measuring instrument for measuring mass of a flowing medium in which a measuring body extends across the flowing medium and has a rectangular flow channel through which the medium flows. The flow channel has a constricted inlet, a central portion with parallel sides and a widened outlet. A measuring element is supported in the measuring body such that the medium flows thereon. An air-mass sensor having an air mass sensor module provided with two temperature sensors ( ) and two heat sensors ( ) which are incorporated into two separately acting bridges (I, II) whose bridge output signals (U , U , U ) are supplied to a microprocessor ( ) incorporated on a common support with the air-mass sensor module. The microprocessor ( ) is calibrated such that crude bridge signals (U , U , U ) measured in a base mode are inscribed in support places (x , x , x ) of support place tables (St , St ). A customer characteristic curve is filed in the form of measurement points (m , m , m ) in the support place tables (St , St ) and are utilized to adjust the crude bridge signals.

Air-mass sensor

A temperature regulator, circuit for an air-mass flow meter in which the temperature regulator circuit includes a bridge circuit one of whose bridge branches contains a temperature resistor of substantially higher resistance than a heating resistor in the other bridge branch. The resistance element of the temperature resistor normally requires a large amount of space on the sensor for this purpose. In order to reduce the size of the resistance element, a voltage divider is provided to reduce the input voltage applied to the temperature resistor. In order to maintain the bridge balance, additional circuit elements are provided in the other bridge branch containing the heating resistor.
