The disclosure relates to a device for blocking display and/or operating contexts comprising at least one operating apparatus for detecting user interactions, and an evaluation apparatus, configured to determine a current involvement value at least on the basis of the detected user interactions. The evaluation apparatus is configured to compare the current involvement value with at least one interruption threshold value and to establish a blocking state if the current involvement value reaches the interruption threshold value. The evaluation apparatus blocks or at least restricts at least one operating context of the at least one operating apparatus. The current involvement value is increased for each detected haptic user interaction, insofar as the current involvement value has not reached or exceeded the at least one interruption threshold value and the evaluation apparatus is configured to lower, continuously or in increments of time, the current involvement value by a recovery value.

Method and device for involvement-dependent dynamic blocking of an operating apparatus

The invention relates to a method for calibrating an eye tracker unit of an operating device, wherein at least one apparatus is controlled by means of the operating device depending on at least one user input and wherein, in the case of the method, at least one graphical element is displayed respectively by a control unit of the operating device in at least one predetermined usage step of the operating device and at least one piece of viewing direction information is determined by means of the eye tracker unit for the user viewing a screen. A method and a system for processing multimodal input signals, wherein the system includes a merging unit which receives instruction messages from a sensor data evaluation device, which messages each indicate an instruction which can be executed by an application which can be coupled to the merging unit. For at least two of the instruction messages, the merging unit respectively generates a candidate object for the instruction message, the candidate object respectively indicating the instruction and respectively including a validity time specification of the candidate object. The merging unit also merges two of the candidate objects if the validity time specifications of these candidate objects indicate overlapping validity times and to forward an instruction to the application, which instruction is indicated by a candidate object which results from the merging operation.
