A method for registering a device with a connected computing facility includes registering the device with the computing facility by using a first encryption method, defining, in the computing facility, a user-specific and device-specific second encryption method based on device identification data and user identification data, and communicating the second encryption method from the computing facility to the device for future communication. A communication system and an energy supply network are also provided.

A method identifies a diagnosis variable which indicates an aging state of an operating device in an electrical energy supply network. In the method, first measurement values of at least one measurement variable are detected at a first measuring point of the operating device. Then simultaneously second measurement values of the at least one measurement variable are detected at a second measuring point of the operating device. The diagnosis variable is identified using respective simultaneously detected first and second measurement values. It is proposed that the first and second measurement values are detected in a time-controlled manner in such a way that a signal of the at least one measurement variable is sampled at a prescribed sampling rate at set times and over a set measurement duration so as to generate time profiles of the first and second measurement values.

The method uses a computer arrangement assigning resources to the control apparatuses based on geographical proximity, selecting an assigned resource, transmitting a test control command specific to the selected resource from the control apparatus to the assigned resources, the test control command configured to trigger a change in power consumption or power output of the selected resource, measuring a change in an electrical variable on the output lines of the local substation by using a measuring apparatus, and assigning the selected electrical resource to that output line of that local substation on which a correlation between test control command and change is recognized. At least one information element of a first type which relates to the system and is dependent on the respective system state of the system is transmitted according to the method from at least one first facility of the system to at least one second facility. For providing system services reliably for an energy supply network, measured values indicating an electrical state of the supply network and/or of a distribution network are recorded. A deviation of the operational state of the supply network from a required operational state is determined and control measures are defined for restoring the required operational state. Control data which indicate a part of the control measures to be carried out by devices of the distribution network are transmitted to the control device, and control commands are determined for the devices of the distribution network with which the devices are controlled such that the distribution network carries out the required control measures. Estimated control data are defined and the communication connection to a network controller is monitored. In the event of a fault in the communication connection, the control commands are defined using the estimated control data instead of the control data.

The coupling device is used to convert the data request from a coupling data format into a further data request that is specific to an energy engineering device in a device-specific data format. The further data request is transmitted to the power engineering device by a second communication link. The power engineering device transmits its power engineering data, requested by the further data request, to the coupling device by the second communication link. The power engineering data are in a data format that is specific to the power engineering device, and the coupling device converts all the power engineering data requested by further data requests into a data response in the coupling data format and uses the first communication link to transmit them to the evaluation device.
