A gear unit for an actuating drive, in particular a window lifter drive, of a motor vehicle is provided that includes a gear housing and a pivot bolt rotatably fixedly connected thereto for rotatably supporting a gear wheel, in particular of a worm gear, the pivot bolt has a second pivot section, which is adjacent to a first pivot section having a first outer diameter, and which has a free end section on the front, the outer diameter of the second pivot section being smaller than the outer diameter of the first pivot section at least over one part of it pivot section length.

The invention describes an electrical machine having an armature with armature slots for accommodating armature coils. At least one armature coil is formed from two coil elements which are arranged symmetrically with respect to one another in relation to an axis of symmetry, which runs through the center-point of the armature shaft. The coil elements are connected to two adjacent commutator laminates of a commutator. A first brush, a second brush and a third brush bear against the commutator in a manner such that they can slide. The second brush interacts with the first brush or the third brush. The third brush is arranged in relation to the two coil elements in such a way that, when the two adjacent commutator laminates come into contact with one another, the third brush and the center-point of the armature shaft form an axis which has an angle of 90 DEG&#x2212;(180 DEG/number of laminates)&#x2212;(180 DEG/3&#xd7;number of laminates) up to 90 DEG+(180 DEG/number of laminates)+(180 DEG/3&#xd7;number of laminates) in relation to the axis of symmetry of the two coil elements.

The invention relates to a wiper system with a wiper drive (), which is comprised of a wiper motor () and a gear (). An electronically commutatable motor is described, the stator field windings of which can be connected to a commutation frequency having a DC supply voltage to generate a rotating field for the permanent magnet rotor and can be disconnected from it, the field windings being switchable via semiconductor output stages which can be activated via control signals with the commutation frequency of a control unit and whose operating conditions change as a function of a specified or specifiable setpoint. The disadvantages of motors with pulse-width-modulated control of the field windings can be avoided with simplified motor control in that the DC supply voltage is supplied to a DC transformer whose output voltage for the semiconductor output stages with the field windings changes as a function of the setpoint and that the control unit fully activates the semiconductor output stages continuously with unclocked control signals with the commutation frequency independently of the setpoint.

Electronically commutatable motor

A method of operating a resistance heating element and a device for carrying out the method are described. During a first step, the resistance of a resistor of the resistance heating element is determined at a known base temperature. In a second step, the resistance setpoint value is determined as a function of resistance of the resistor at the known base temperature and known temperature coefficients. The resistance heating element is activated by approximately setting the resistance setpoint value in order to heat the resistance heating element to the given setpoint temperature.

A headlamp for a power vehicle comprises a reflector having an apex, a light source arranged in the apex of the reflector, and a dimming device which is formed so that in a position for high beam it allows light from the light source to reach a lower reflector region or allows the light to exit the same, and in a position for low beam it keeps away light from said light source from the lower reflector region or blocks light reflected from the lower reflector region. The light source is formed as a gas discharge lamp with an axial light arc, an upper reflector region is formed for producing a light distribution for low beam while the lower reflector region is formed for producing a light distribution for high beam.
