A gantry drive includes a multiphase stator, a multiphase rotor, a tunnel-shaped cavity configured to receive a patient, and a controller. The multiphase rotor spatially surrounds the cavity. The multiphase stator and the multiphase rotor form a multiphase motor configured to produce a rotating-field power. A first portion of the rotating-field power provides a mechanical drive power to produce a rotational movement of the multiphase rotor, and a second portion of the rotating-field power provides an electrical supply power for a payload apparatus. The controller is configured to vary at least one of the first portion or the second portion.

Gantry drive with integral power transmission

A brushless drive system includes a reluctance rotor and a stator for generating a magnetic flux. The stator has a cylindrical stator yoke, an annular permanent magnet and a coil unit. The reluctance rotor has a cylindrical rotor yoke that is made of a soft-magnetic material, is free from magnetic sources and is configured to be driven about an axis of rotation via the magnetic flux. The permanent magnet and the coil unit are axially spaced apart along the axis of rotation. The stator yoke, the permanent magnet, the rotor yoke and the coil unit form a magnetic circuit for guidance of the magnetic flux. The magnetic circuit is configured such that, between the permanent magnet and the coil unit, an axial direction of the magnetic circuit in the stator yoke and an axial direction of the magnetic circuit in the rotor yoke have opposite signs.

Brushless drive system for a rotary anode arrangement of an x-ray tube

In a method for regulating a position of an X-ray focus on the anode of an X-ray source of a scan unit of an X-ray imaging system, a combined actual position of the X-ray focus is determined by a combination of a measured position of the X-ray focus and a model-based position of the X-ray focus, which is determined based on a measured value of a deflection current. On the basis of the combined actual position and a target position, a manipulated variable is determined. On the basis of the determined manipulated variable, a regulation is performed to correct a deviation of the position of the X-ray focus from the target position.

A two-phase cooling system for an X-ray high-voltage generator comprises a heat sink block and a heat sink. The heat sink block spatially surrounds a cooling duct loop, wherein the cooling duct loop is at least partially filled with a working medium and is configured to act as an oscillating heat pipe. The heat sink is configured to dissipate heat from a heat source. The heat sink block includes a material including a polymer.

An X-ray high-voltage generator comprises: a circuit arrangement having at least one power electronics circuit part, wherein the at least one power electronics circuit part is configured to form a heat source during operation; and a two-phase cooling system having a heat sink. The at least one power electronics circuit part is directly thermally coupled to the two-phase cooling system to cool the heat source at the heat sink. The two-phase cooling system has a cooling element block that spatially surrounds a cooling channel circuit. The cooling channel circuit is at least partially filled with a working medium, and is configured to act as a heat pipe.

An X-ray emitter includes an anode rotatably mounted arranged inside a vacuum housing. It can be set into rotation by an electric drive. In the region of a focal spot, the anode can be exposed to an electron beam emitted by a cathode. According to an embodiment of the invention, a control unit is configured to activate an electromagnetic deflection unit that deflects the electron beam as a function of at least one operating parameter of the electric drive such that a movement of the focal spot, caused by electromagnetic fields of the electric drive, can be at least partly compensated for. An embodiment of the invention further relates to a method for compensating for a focal spot movement when X-ray emitters in operation.

The embodiments relate to a rotary anode arrangement with a rotary anode, a rotor for driving the rotary anode and a stator, which exerts a torque on the rotor. The stator includes at least one coil for generating a first magnetic field and at least one permanent magnet for generating a second magnetic field. The embodiments also relate to an X-ray tube with the rotary anode arrangement. The embodiments offer the advantage that a high electromagnetic utilization is possible with a synchronous motor that is excited by permanent magnets.

An x-ray arrangement includes a vacuum container in, which a rotary anode and a rotor of an electrical machine are disposed. The rotary anode and the rotor have a torque-proof connection to one another and are rotatably supported in the vacuum container, so that the rotary anode and the rotor are rotatable around an axis of rotation. Viewed in a direction of the axis of rotation, a laminated stator core is disposed in an area of the rotor. The area of the rotor, in relation to the axis of rotation, surrounds the vacuum container radially outwards. A stator winding system is disposed in the laminated stator core. The stator winding system has windings embodied as a yoke winding.

A device for improving the filter effect of a filter connected up between an electrical energy source and a source of interference is provided. The filter is configured to feed back interference transients from ground to an input of the source of interference generating the interference transients. The device includes a measuring device for determining a leakage current flowing through the filter and a final control element configured to modify a limit frequency of the filter such that the leakage current through the filter is damped to below a predefined level if the measuring device detects the leakage current.
