A compactor device for compacting a sliver that is drawn by a drafting system of a textile machine is provided. In accordance with the invention, it is envisaged that the compactor device is designed as a channel compactor and has a guide channel, designed in the shape of a screw in the running direction of the sliver, wherein the entry opening of the guide channel is widest horizontally and the exit opening of the guide channel is arranged rotated at least 30° with respect to the entry opening.

Compactor device

A spinning device for manufacturing a thread from a supplied fibre band by a circulating air flow having a hollow spinning cone arranged in a spinning housing, the spinning housing having an envelope wall arranged coaxially and at a distance from the spinning cone and forming an envelope gap, and a nozzle device to which compressed air can be applied for producing an air flow circulating the spinning cone in the envelope gap. The spinning device having the spinning cone and the envelope wall for forming a capacitor unit to have electrodes arranged opposite one another with the envelope gap interposed and forming an electrode pair. A method for monitoring the spinning operation on the spinning device is also provided.

A joining method wherein fibers of a fiber band are wound around an auxiliary thread threaded into a spinning device and drawn through a spinning cone. The newly spun thread is separated from the auxiliary thread and connected to the end of an upper thread. A spinning device is provided for a jet spinning machine for carrying out such method, comprising a first clamping device for temporary clamping of the upper thread and a second clamping device for temporary clamping of the auxiliary thread. A jet spinning machine for carrying out the method has a mechanism for storing the auxiliary thread and the newly spun thread, a mechanism for separating the auxiliary thread from the newly spun thread, and a splicing mechanism for connecting the newly spun thread to the upper thread, all arranged only on at least one operating carriage displaceable along multiple spinning stations.

Joining method on a jet spinning machine, spinning device and jet spinning machine

A drafting arrangement for a spinning machine, comprising at least one pair of feed rollers, one pair of central rollers and a pair of withdrawal rollers, wherein the lower rollers of the drafting arrangement are configured as roller segments, which are rotated by single-motor drives, and the upper rollers are mounted in a pendulum carrier. The lower roller drive () at least of the pair of central rollers () is arranged together with its lower roller (A) in a bearing device () in such a way that, after opening of the pendulum carrier () receiving the associated upper roller (B), the lower roller (A) and its drive () can easily be removed from the bearing device () in the direction of the pendulum carrier ().

Drafting arrangement for a spinning machine

A spinning device for producing a yarn by a circulating air flow, comprising a hollow spinning cone arranged in a spinning housing and rotatably mounted about a central longitudinal axis and a nozzle block which can be loaded with compressed air to generate the circulating air flow. The spinning cone () is mounted via a bearing arrangement () in the rear housing part () such that the installation angle position of the spinning cone () can be adjusted selectively inside the air spinning device ().

Spinning device for producing a yarn by means of a circulating air flow

An open-end spinning device comprises a spinning rotor () rotating in a rotor housing with a spinning insert () supported rotatably with respect to the spinning rotor () coaxially to the rotor axis (). The spinning insert () can be caused to rotate as a function of the rotary motion of the spinning rotor () via a contactless entrainment of the spinning insert () by means of permanent magnets () attached to the spinning insert (). In this manner a simple and reliable entrainment and an automatic adjusting of the rotational speed of the spinning insert () in the spinning rotor () are achieved.

Open-end spinning device

An open-end spinning device has a spinning rotor () with a rotor groove () at its greatest inside diameter in which fibers are collected. A yarn shank () extending from a yarn withdrawal nozzle to the rotor groove () is curved in the vicinity of the rotor groove () counter to the direction of rotor rotation during the spinning process forming a lagging tie-up zone whereat yarn formation takes place. A rotor insert () is rotatably supported within the spinning rotor coaxially to the rotor axis. The rotor insert () can be caused to rotate in a contactless manner by the rotation of the spinning rotor. The rotor insert () comprises a yarn guide conduit () that receives the yarn shank () to effect a retardation of the rotor insert () during normal spinning operation, which significantly improves the stability of the spinning process over known open-end spinning devices.

A yarn withdrawal nozzle for an open-end rotor spinning arrangement, having an inlet funnel and a coaxially arranged structure in the inlet funnel, as well as notches arranged in a spaced-apart manner that are positioned in the traveling direction of a yarn downstream of the coaxially arranged structure. The coaxially arranged structure is comprised of circularly-shaped beads or grooves of different diameters.

Yarn withdrawal nozzle

An opening arrangement for an open-end spinning device with a rotating opening roller having opening elements stationarily arranged on its circumference for opening a delivered sliver into individual fibers and for combing out the fibers at a comb-out point. The opening roller has a mechanical stripping arrangement that rotates along with it. The stripping arrangement includes ejectors that are pivotably fastened on the opening roller. Each ejector is arranged between the opening elements and extends over the opening roller transversely in relation to the direction of rotation. The ejector strips combed-out fibers off the opening elements and improves the opening of the opening roller as well as the transfer of the fibers from the opening roller. The opening arrangement is advantageously employed with an open-end spinning frame.

A spinning device for producing a spun yarn by a circulating air flow in a housing has an adjustment device ( ) for controlling the angular position of the fiber ends wrapped around a spindle head, and in turn, the angular position of the fibers wrapped around the produced yarn, by adjusting a linear component of an air flow into the spinning device as a function of the yarn withdrawal speed, whereby a yarn is produced of a required yarn strength even during a spinning start phase in the process of making the spun yarn.

Spinning device for producing a spun yarn by means of a circulating air flow

A device for producing spun yarn by means of an airflow acting in a twisting manner on the fibers of an untwisted sliver (,) as the sliver is being conducted into and through a spindle assembly (,). The spindle assembly (,) comprises a spindle head portion (,) which conically tapers toward a spindle inlet opening (,) and is rotatable independently of a spindle core portion (,) through which the yarn is withdrawn. The device suppresses any tendency of the yarn strength to decrease at high, increasing numbers of spindle revolutions.

Device for producing spun yarn

A device for producing spun yarn by means of an airflow acting in the area between a sliver guide and a spindle (,) on fibers of a non-twisted sliver (,) drafted and delivered by a drafting arrangement in order to twist the fibers. Thereafter, the sliver (,) is passed through the spindle (,). Outside of an imaginary center line (,) of the traveling sliver (,), the sliver guide is arranged such that the fibers are passed along the inward lying surface of the sliver guide. The sliver guide comprises fiber guide elements (,) spaced apart from each other, which permit the free passage of a core fiber bundle. An improved spinning process, along with high productivity and increased yarn strength is possible by means of the device of the invention. The spinning device can be manufactured and operated cost-effectively.

Spinning device

A mechanically operating debris removal device for an open-end spinning machine 1 comprises a guide conduit arranged below the spinning units and enclosing a debris conveyor belt. The guide conduit comprises a base and a cover, which may be pivotable or detachable relative to the base. During spinning operation, the base and the cover form an essentially closed belt guide conduit. Debris passage openings are formed in the cover with associated air and debris guide deflectors to communicate with debris exit openings in the sliver opening devices. The upper run of debris conveyor belt creates a slight suction flow in guide conduit and at the debris passage openings to prevent fine debris from settling in the area of the debris passage openings and in the area of debris exit openings of the sliver opening devices.
