Light emitting device (LED) circuit board layouts for low profile lighting fixtures are provided. In some embodiments, the lighting fixture can include a fixture housing. The lighting fixture can include one or more LED devices disposed on a circuit board. The lighting fixture can include one or more electronic components associated with at least one of a driver circuit or a filter circuit (e.g., as part of a flicker reducing circuit) disposed on the circuit board. The one or more LED devices are disposed on a first portion of the circuit board and the electronic components are disposed on a second portion of the circuit board. The second portion of the circuit board can be spaced radially apart from a center point of the circuit board relative to the first portion.

A switch includes a first terminal, a second terminal, and a third terminal. The switch includes an output node coupled to the second terminal and the third terminal. The switch includes a contactor coupled to the first terminal and movable between at least a first position and a second position. The first terminal is coupled to the second terminal when the contactor is in the first position. The first terminal is coupled to the third terminal when the contactor is in the second position. When the contactor is in the first position, the switch is configured to provide direct current power at the output node. When the contactor is in the second position, the switch is configured to provide alternating current power at the output node.

In one example embodiment, a lighting system includes can include one or more high intensity narrow spectrum light sources configured to emit high intensity narrow spectrum light. The lighting system can further include a power circuit configured to provide power to the one or more high intensity narrow spectrum light sources and a pulsing circuit configured to control delivery of power to the one or more high intensity narrow spectrum light sources so as to pulse the emission of high intensity narrow spectrum light from the one or more high intensity narrow spectrum light sources.
