An actuating device for setting an optical parameter of an optical device including a telescopic sight. The actuating device includes a first coupling part rotatable about a rotation axis and an index element pushable onto the first coupling part for assuming an operating position. A guide arrangement guides the index element on the first coupling part and is configured to permit a push-on of the index element in the direction of the rotation axis and to permit a twisting of the index element relative to the first coupling part at least in a direction perpendicular to or tangential to the rotation axis. A second coupling part is configured to provide friction forces counteracting a twisting of the index element relative to the first and second coupling parts when the index element is in the operating position thereof.

Actuation device for adjusting or setting a parameter of an optical device including a telescopic sight

The invention relates to a device for superimposing an image in the beam path of an aiming optics, having an at least partially transparent optical support element which is arranged in the beam path of the aiming optics and has at least one diffractive optical coupling element and at least one diffractive optical decoupling element, the at least one diffractive optical coupling element leading light of the image to be superimposed, which light is incident on said coupling element and is to be coupled in, through the optical support element to the at least one diffractive optical decoupling element for the purpose of superimposition with the beam path. The image to be superimposed is imaged into the beam path of the aiming optics by the at least one diffractive optical coupling element and the least one diffractive optical decoupling element.

An illumination apparatus for a telescopic sight has a lamp, in particular for a reticle of the telescopic sight. The apparatus comprises a control circuit for supplying the lamp, and an adjustment knob cooperating with the control unit for adjusting the brightness of the lamp. Incremental markings are associated with the adjustment knob. The control unit is provided with first means for scanning the incremental markings when the adjustment knob is operated, second means for generating incremental signals, and third means for generating from the incremental signals a signal for controlling the brightness of the lamp.

Telescopic sight having an illumination apparatus

A sighting telescope has an inner tube that moves transversely of the telescope axis relative to an outer tube, and operating elements arranged mutually at an angle for transversely displacing the inner tube. In an embodiment of the invention, the outer tube has an enlarged internal diameter in the region of the operating elements. In a second embodiment of the invention, a leaf spring is arranged for producing a restoring force on the inner tube, extends in a substantially radial direction, and has radially offset support places, both on the outer tube and on the inner tube. The leaf spring is preferably arranged in the neighborhood of the enlarged internal diameter.
