In one aspect, a circlip includes a circlip body defining (i) a first end surface, (ii) a second end surface spaced circumferentially from the first end surface so as to define a gap between the first and second end surfaces, and (iii) an outer curved surface defining an outer perimeter of the circlip body. The outer curved surface extends from the first end surface to the second end surface. Further, the circlip includes at least one row of teeth defined at the outer curved surface, and extending from at least one of the first and second end surfaces circumferentially along a direction away from the gap. When installed in a circlip groove, the teeth engage the circlip groove to limit rotation of the circlip within the groove.

Anti-rotational circlip

A cylinder liner associated with an internal combustion engine includes a cooling moat to reduce temperatures at an upper cylinder liner seal. The cooling moat may have a gap extending upwardly toward an inner running surface of the cylinder liner to supply coolant to an upper portion of the cylinder liner. The cooling moat may be provided at a location between the inner running surface of the cylinder liner and a groove for the upper cylinder liner seal.

An enclosure assembly for enclosing a portion of a fuel delivery system of an engine, such as a portion of a fuel nozzle body that extends away from the engine, is disclosed herein. The enclosure assembly includes a nozzle body cover portion operable to enclose a fuel nozzle body. The enclosure assembly also includes a fuel line cover portion unitary with the nozzle body cover portion and operable to enclose a portion of a fuel supply line connected to the fuel nozzle body. Both the nozzle body cover portion and the fuel line cover portion are defined by a first and second half-shells operable to cooperate together in a clam shell arrangement.

Fuel nozzle enclosure

A small size epicyclic gear system in which the mating between gear housings is purposefully made with some play to allow a certain degree of relative movement to accommodate machining runout errors in the manufacture of the gears. A castellated cap fastened to the motor engages with a castellated gear reduction body. The tolerances built into the cap and gear reduction body allow relative radial movement therebetween to reduce binding of the gears during rotational positions in which the gear component runout tolerances are additive.

Floating ring gear epicyclic gear system

A fan blade retaining and sealing ring assembly for an aft side of a bladed disk assembly is disclosed herein. The ring assembly includes an inner ring operable to prevent aft movement of a fan blade positioned in a slot formed in the blade disk. The ring assembly also includes an outer ring operable to seal against a platform of the fan blade. The inner ring and the outer ring are formed from different materials.

Retaining and sealing ring assembly

A reinstatement cutting machine having an air tube formed therethrough for carrying pressurized air to drive a cutting tool. The air tube is insulated to prevent condensation within the reinstatement cutting machine due to temperature changes caused by the pressurized air passing through the air tube. In a preferred embodiment, the air tube is insulated with a tubular member constructed of an insulating material.

A system and method for preserving the order of data items through a divergence-and-reconvergence of two or more paths in a hardware device. A host processor may write a first token to a first path in the hardware device. A convergence unit in the hardware device may receive and store the first token in a synchronization register. The host processor may poll the synchronization register to determine when the first token arrives in the synchronization register. In response to determining that the first token has arrived in the synchronization register, the host processor may safely write a sequence of one or more data items to a second path in the hardware device.
