A connection assembly for a backrest, of an office or conference chair, includes a backrest structural element, a transverse support element, a transverse bearing by means of which the backrest structural element is rotatably coupled to the transverse support element in a direction perpendicular to a transverse direction, and a connection portion connecting the transverse support element to the backrest structural element, arranged and formed so that the backrest structural element is resiliently movable relative to the transverse support element.

Connection assembly for a backrest and office or conference chair

A chair is provided which has a tiltable seat carrier and a tiltable backrest on the backrest carrier which are forcibly coupled to one another, and which has an individual adjustment feature for the tilt of the seat carrier in relation to the backrest carrier. Provided on the underside of the seat carrier is a bearing block having a slideway contour and a vertical slot in which the flange of a lifting element is mounted vertically movably, wherein the lifting element has a substantially triangular collar which slides on the substantially rectangular slideway contour when the flange moves vertically. The tilt of the seat carrier can be adjusted to be steeper or flatter by turning the lifting element, and the limit positions are completely stable such that the possibility of automatic unlocking is eliminated.

Chair having a tiltable seat

A chair, such as a swivel chair for the office, has an armrest that is made up of an armrest carrier, which includes a carrier and a sleeve sliding thereon and attached to the seat at the bottom by a seat flange which can be displaced transversely to the seat direction, and of an arm support, which can be displaced longitudinally via a guide and can be rotated via a rotary part mounted in a rotary bearing. The guide is arranged parallel, but eccentrically in relation, to the axis of symmetry of the arm support. Since the rotatability of the arm support is at least 1800, it is possible to set different clear distances between the two arm supports of the chair.

Armrest

In a neck support for a chair, a head cushion is articulated, via an articulation bearing, on a guide sleeve displaced on a retaining bar, articulated on the top edge of a backrest via a further articulation bearing, the retaining bar and the guide sleeve being of rectilinear design, this resulting in linear height adjustability of the neck support. The bottom articulation bearing and preferably also the top articulation bearing each comprise a cylinder on the retaining bar and two cylinders on a bearing foot or on a link plate, it being possible for the first cylinder to rotate in a controlled manner between the two second cylinders via blocks.

Neck support for a chair

In the case of a chair with adjustable seat depth, the seat comprises a rigid supporting panel ( ) and a single-piece, longitudinally flexible seat panel ( ) which bears the seat cushion ( ) and is connected in a longitudinally displaceable manner to the supporting panel ( ). The longitudinal displaceability is achieved by providing guide strips ( ) mounted in guideways ( ) on the top side of the seat panel ( ), the guide strips being fastened on the supporting panel ( ) via screws ( ), and the screws ( ) passing through slots ( ) on the base of the guideways ( ). The supporting panel ( ) is advantageously designed as a frame and consists of cast aluminium, and the seat panel ( ) consists of polypropylene. This achieves an optimum sliding pairing.

Chair with adjustable seat depth

A neckrest, for a chair having a backrest, is configured to be attached to a backrest shield in a height-adjustable manner. The neckrest includes a circular cross-section retaining rod, configured to be connected to the backrest shield via an articulated or movable connection so as to be tiltable by up to approximately 30&deg; in a vertical plane vertically with respect to a surface of the backrest, and a circular cross-section guide sleeve, mounted on the retaining rod so as to be slidingly shiftable by up to approximately 200 mm on the retaining rod. The retaining rod includes a molding on a side thereof which is closest the backrest and seated in a housing having a recess. The molding has a round surface which slides under pressure on a polyurethane rubber material friction dampening device so as to achieve the articulated connection.

Neckrest for a chair

A chair has both a tiltable seat and a tiltable backrest mounted on a backrest support. The chair includes a pedestal mounted on a bottom of the tiltable seat. An eccentric disk is seated in the pedestal so as to be movable therein. A rod eccentrically penetrates the eccentric disk via a prismatically-shaped cross-section recess through the eccentric disk so that the rod is not movable with respect to the eccentric disk. A handle is connected on an outer end of the rod for use in turning the rod together with the eccentric disk. An arm is mounted on the backrest support of the tiltable backrest, wherein the rod is seated in the arm in a movable manner.

Chair wit tiltable seat

A backrest, in particular for an office chair, is indicated, in which backrest a cover is stretched onto a frame. In order for it to be possible for the frame to be introduced into the cover in a simple manner, the frame is of hinged and rotatable design. The cover is stretched in the transverse and longitudinal direction by insertion of a transverse bow into the frame and fastening of the cover to the transverse bow.
