A portable work apparatus has a drive motor and a housing which is formed at least partially by a housing part. The work apparatus has an operating fluid tank which is formed separately from the housing part and which has a cavity for receiving operating fluid. The operating fluid tank has a first portion which is arranged in a receptacle of the housing part, and a second portion which at least partially delimits the cavity and which protrudes from the receptacle. Provision is made for the operating fluid tank to be fixed to the housing part by at least one fastener, and for the receptacle to be delimited at least partially by a plurality of ribs of the housing part that are arranged at a spacing (f) from one another.

Portable work apparatus

A cutting blade for a hand-guided trimmer with a drive motor has a disk-shaped base member with cutting teeth disposed about a circumference of the base member. The base member has a first face and a second face opposite the first face. The cutting teeth each have a tooth face edge, the tooth face edge leading in driving direction of the cutting blade and extending radially, and a tooth back edge extending in the circumferential direction. The tooth face edge and the tooth back edge of the cutting teeth are alternatingly ground on the first face or the second face in the circumferential direction and define together a common cutting tip that is leading in the drive direction. Several of the cutting tips of the cutting teeth that are sequentially arranged in the circumferential direction are positioned in a common plane.

Grass blade for a trimmer

A trimmer head for a trimmer has a base member having a trimmer line opening. A clamping device arranged in the base member clamps a trimmer line that defines a cutting plane when rotated. The clamping member of the clamping device is rotatably disposed on a pivot bolt having a pivot axis positioned in a plane that is parallel to the cutting plane. The clamping member is spring-loaded by a clamping spring into a clamping position. The trimmer line is secured in the clamping position between a clamping surface and the clamping member. A centrifugal force acting on the trimmer line loads the clamping member in the clamping position. A U-shaped bracket has bracket legs connected by a stay. The clamping member is positioned between the bracket legs. The pivot bolt is supported on the bracket leg ends. The stay of the U-shaped bracket forms the clamping surface.

Trimmer head for a trimmer

A blade for a furrow cutter has a planar fastening region which is located in a fastening plane. The blade is driven in rotation via a transmission arranged in a transmission housing. The fastening plans separates a first region of the furrow cutter from a second region of the furrow cutter. The transmission is arranged in the first region. The blade has at least one arm projecting from the fastening region and having a free end. The arm has a first segment which extends out of the fastening plane into the second region. A simple structure, a good cutting result and a high service life are achieved when the arm has a second segment in which the arm extends back in the direction of the fastening plane.

Furrow cutter

A portable spraying device has an internal combustion engine and a blower driven by the internal combustion engine. A blower tube is connected to the blower and conveys a blowing air stream generated in the blower. A spraying agent reservoir is provided and a spraying agent line is connect to the reservoir and conveys a spraying agent stream from the reservoir into the blowing air stream. A control valve is arranged in the spraying agent line. A throttle control acts on the internal combustion engine for controlling an engine output. A stop switch acts on the internal combustion engine for interrupting ignition. An actuating element acts on the control valve for actuating the control valve to control the spraying agent stream. A handle with a handle head is provided and the throttle control, the stop switch, and the actuating element are arranged in the handle head.

Portable spraying device

A portable spray apparatus () is provided to selectively discharge liquid spray medium and solid dust medium with a blower airflow () generated by a blower (). An adaptor () is provided which has at least a channel section () of a liquids channel () for the liquid spray medium and a channel section () of a solids channel () for the solid dust medium. The adaptor () is releasably connected to a supply vessel (). The liquids channel () and the solids channel () open into the blower airflow (). Various built-in positions of the supply vessel () and of the adaptor () are freely selectable relative to each other and to the blower unit () by the operator. In one built-in position, the liquids channel () is connected via its channel section () to an interior space () of the supply vessel () and, in another built-in position, the solids channel () is connected to this interior space () via the channel section () thereof.

Portable spray apparatus

A hand-guided sweeper () includes a guide rod () on which a handle () is mounted for guiding the sweeper () over the ground. The sweeper () has at least one sweeper brush (), which is driven in rotation by a drive motor (), and at least one wheel (). The wheel () and the sweeper brush () lie against the ground during operation of the sweeper (). The sweeper () has a first adjusting device () which permits an adjustment of the guide rod () relative to the sweeper brush () about a vertical axis () referred to the ground.

A portable handheld work apparatus, such as a motorized cultivator () or the like, includes a frame () which extends essentially in the longitudinal direction () of the work apparatus. A drive motor () is fixed at one end () of the frame () and a work tool is driven by this drive motor. The opposite-lying end () includes at least a handle () for guiding the work apparatus during the operation thereof. In order to make possible an ergonomic work posture of the operator, the handle () lies facing away upwardly from the ground surface () in the work position of the motorized work apparatus. The work position is a position in which the work tool lies on the ground surface () to be worked.

Portable handheld work apparatus

The invention relates to an eccentric drive ( ) and especially to an eccentric drive for a portable handheld work apparatus having a wheel ( ) driven by a drive motor ( ). Eccentric drive for a portable handheld work apparatus

The invention relates to a two-cycle engine for a drive engine in a portable, manually operated tool. The combustion chamber formed in a cylinder is delimited by a piston that moves up and down, whereby the piston, by means of a connecting rod, drives a crankshaft rotatably mounted in a crankcase. The combustion chamber has an outlet for removing waste gases, and provided for supplying a fuel/air mixture prepared by a mixture preparation device, and combustion air, are gas-supplying channels that open into the combustion chamber. In order to reduce scavenging losses, it is provided that for the entire duration of the gas exchange exclusively air flows in the area near the outlet and exclusively fuel/air mixture flows out of the crankcase in the area further away from the outlet.

Two-cycle engine with a stratified charge

The invention is directed to a cutterhead for a portable handheld brushcutter for cutting grass, weeds and the like. The cutterhead includes a housing which holds a spool for the cutting filament. Two spool chambers are formed on the periphery of the spool by a radial partition wall. A cutting filament is wound in each of the spool chambers and each of the cutting filaments is assigned an exit opening in the housing which extends into free space. The partition wall lies at the same axial elevation with the exit openings. The partition wall is provided with at least one lead-in channel through which the filament is guided into the interior of the spool when inserted. A reliable introduction of the filament is provided by a simple configuration of the cutterhead and makes a reliable wind-up and pay-out of the filament possible. This is achieved by providing a lead-in channel for each spool chamber with the entrance of the lead-in channel being defined by an insert funnel. The insert funnel is provided on each of the sides of the partition wall with a filament guide. Each side faces toward the assigned spool chamber. Furthermore, the lead-in channel extends non-linearly in the spool.

Cutterhead for a portable handheld brushcutter

A gearhead assembly between a drive shaft and an output shaft of a trimmer arranged parallel but staggered to one another, includes a bearing shaft extending perpendicularly between the drive shaft and the output shaft. The bearing shaft has a first end supported in the first housing part and a second end supported in the second housing. A central gear is mounted on the bearing shaft. A clamping device has a clamping shaft that has a first and a second opposed ends engaging the first and second housing parts. The second housing part together with the output shaft is pivotable about the bearing shaft relative to the first housing part in a plane parallel to the axial direction of the drive shaft. The bearing shaft is a hub, and the clamping shaft penetrates the hub.

Adjustable gearhead for a hedge trimmer attachment

A tank closing device for a container includes a filler neck at the container and a closing member received in the filler neck. A closing cap is securable at the filler neck by a bayonet fitting. A sealing element is arranged at the closing member. A spring rests at the closing cap and biases the sealing element against the filler neck. The closing cap has a top face and a gripping member projecting upwardly from the top face. The bayonet fitting includes at least three socket elements at a circumferential surface of the closure cap or the filler neck and includes at least three dogs cooperating with the at least three socket elements and arranged on an opposing circumferential surface of the closing cap or the filler neck. The socket elements or the dogs or both the socket elements and the dogs are unevenly distributed over the circumferential surface, respectively.

Tank closing device for a filler neck of a container

A cutting machine having a rotatingly driven cutting tool (2) and a tool guard (1). The tool guard (1) has a first tool guard part (11) which is fixedly mounted with respect to the apparatus and a second tool guard part (12) which can be pivotably mounted relative to the first tool guard part (11). Each tool guard part includes side walls (30, 32) lying adjacent to respective sides of the cutting tool and a center web which connects the two side walls to each other. The center web (31) extends curved in the peripheral direction and is disposed above the cutting tool (2). In order to perform a disturbance-free pendular cut, the pivotable second tool guard part (12) carries a slide piece (40) which projects beyond the end edge (34) of the center web (31) and has a rounded outer slide surface (35) facing away from the center web (31). The end edge (34) faces away from the fixed first tool guard part (11).
