A shaft bearing point has a radial shaft bearing in which a drive shaft is rotatably supported relative to a machine housing. The radial shaft bearing is arranged directly or indirectly in a machine housing wall separating a lubricant space from a lubricant-free space. The radial shaft bearing has a lubricant side facing the lubricant space, and a seal side facing away from the lubricant space, in the axial direction, and a radial shaft seal is provided which is arranged at an axial distance to the seal side such that a lubricant chamber is produced between the seal side and the radial shaft seal ring in the axial direction. The lubricant chamber is equipped with a chamber separating wall. The chamber separating wall separates the lubricant chamber into a storage chamber, which is arranged between the seal side and the chamber separating wall, and a seal chamber, which is arranged between the chamber separating wall and the radial shaft seal ring. The storage chamber and the seal chamber are fluidically connected together via a separating wall throttle. The separating wall throttle has an annular gap as a fluid-conducting connection between the two chambers. The annular gap is formed between the chamber separating wall and the drive shaft and has a permeable height, which is greater than 0.1 mm and less than 3 mm, in the radial direction.

A combustion engine housing with cylinder cooling includes at least one cylinder. The cylinder cooling channel has a distribution cross-sectional area having a cross-sectional area through which coolant can flow, in a first cross-sectional plane that is perpendicular to the cylinder axis. In a second cross-sectional plane, which is perpendicular to the cylinder axis and which is arranged in relation to the vertical direction between the first cross-sectional plane and the coolant outflow opening, has a throttle cross-sectional area, which is a cross-sectional area through which coolant can flow. The throttle cross-sectional area is smaller than the distribution cross-sectional area.

Combustion engine housing having cylinder cooling

An internal combustion engine includes an output shaft, fan, auxiliary unit, and wraparound drive. The drive has a first wraparound wheel which is drivable by the output shaft and a first wraparound belt which wraps around the first wraparound wheel, which is drivable by the output shaft via the first wraparound wheel, and via which the auxiliary unit is drivable by the output shaft. The drive has a second wraparound wheel, a third wraparound wheel, a second wraparound belt which wraps around the first wraparound wheel and the second wraparound wheel where the second wraparound wheel is drivable by the output shaft via the second wraparound belt and the first wraparound wheel, and a third wraparound belt which wraps around the second wraparound wheel and the third wraparound wheel such that the fan is drivable by the second wraparound wheel via the third wraparound wheel and the third wraparound belt.

An internal combustion engine, in particular for a vehicle, is provided. The internal combustion engine has a crankcase, a cylinder head, a coolant feed line, a cooling channel branching line, a first coolant channel which runs at least partly through the cylinder head, and a second coolant channel which runs at least partly through the crankcase. The coolant feed line is connected to the cooling channel branching line to supply coolant. The first and second coolant channels are each connected to the cooling channel branching line to be supplied with coolant from the cooling channel branching line. The cooling channel branching line is equipped with a temperature-sensitive current regulating device which is configured to variably adjust the ratio of the coolant volumetric flow rates that are from the cooling channel branching line into the first and second coolant channels over a range on the basis of the temperature.

There is disclosed a method of a control valve of a coolant circuit of a combustion engine, with the control valve having a valve element that is actuatable by an actuator for enabling and/or blocking a coolant flow in the coolant circuit which has a heat exchanger, and having an assembly for detecting the position of the valve element for monitoring the opening state of the control valve. A coupling component is provided for a plug-in connection for media-carrying lines, and includes a flow channel that has an inner cross-section that is enlarged in steps in order to allow the formation of a reflux zone when carrying the media, and a vent opening. The step-like enlargement is asymmetrically formed over the circumference of the inner cross-section so as to achieve an improved separation capacity.
