The invention relates to a tank device () for storing a gaseous medium, in particular hydrogen, comprising a valve device (), and a tank () and having a longitudinal axis (). The valve device () has a valve housing (), which is equipped with a pilot valve element () that can be moved along the longitudinal axis (), said pilot valve element () interacting with a first valve seat () in order to open and close a first outlet opening () and thus forming a pilot valve (). The valve device () can be actuated by means of a solenoid coil (), wherein a main valve element () is arranged in the valve housing (), said main valve element () interacting with a second valve seat () in order to open and close a second outlet opening () and thus forming a main valve (). The tank device () comprises a screw-in housing element (), wherein the valve device () is integrated into a neck region () of the tank () in a fixed manner by means of the screw-in housing element (). The valve device () is arranged in the tank () by means of a tank pressure and is in a closed position by means of a spring () when the solenoid coil () is deactivated.

Tank device for storing a gaseous medium

An intake valve for a high pressure pump for internal combustion engine fuel having a valve body having a seat with which cooperates a shutter kept closed by a first spring of substantially constant pressure and by a second spring varying in pressure during at least part of the stroke of the piston. The springs are helical compression types and their pressures are summed on the shutter, which has a plate and a stem. The first spring is located between the valve body and a flange integral with a sleeve fitted to the stem in an adjustable position. The second spring is located between the plate and the piston.

Intake valve for a high-pressure pump, in particular for internal combustion engine fuel

The invention relates to a pump device for high pressure fuel delivery in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines including a pump housing. The pump housing includes a number of pump elements, in which high pressure is exerted on fuel. The fuel that is acted on with high pressure is delivered by the individual pump elements to a common high pressure connecting bore by use of a high pressure conduit system. In order to reduce stress in the bores the high pressure conduit system includes a number of high pressure conduits which communicate with the pump elements and are disposed in a plane different from that of the common high pressure connecting bore in which the high pressure conduits come together at the connecting bore. Through the disposition of the common high pressure connecting bore in a plane different from that of the high pressure conduits, the high pressure conduits can intersect with the high pressure connecting bore in an eccentric fashion.

Pump system for supplying fuel at high pressure

A radial piston pump for generating high fuel pressure in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, having a drive shaft which is supported in a pump housing. The drive shaft is embodied eccentrically or has camlike protrusions in the circumferential direction. A plurality of pistons are disposed radially with respect to the drive shaft in a respective cylinder chamber. A plate is mounted on the ends of each piston toward the drive shaft, and the pistons are movable back and forth radially in the respective cylinder chamber by rotation of the drive shaft. Wear problems are solved by providing that the plate is pivotably connected to the associated piston. By the deflection of the plate on the piston, the load on the piston from moments of the bracing force is lessened.

Radial piston pump for producing high pressure fuel

A radial piston pump for high-pressure fuel delivery in fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines, with a drive shaft which is supported in a pump housing. The drive shaft has an eccentrically embodied shaft section upon which a ring is supported in sliding fashion by means of a bearing bush. The ring cooperates preferably with a number of pistons disposed radially in relation to the drive shaft each in a respective cylinder chamber. The eccentric shaft section and the ring are fixed in the axial direction by means of stop faces and a bearing gap is provided between the bearing bush and the eccentric shaft section into which gap lubricant travels from the inside of the pump housing. The relationship of the parts improves the supply of lubricant to the bearing gap and the hub end faces of the pump housing are embodied as conical so that a wedge-shaped gap is produced which narrows in the direction of the bearing gap.
