The invention relates to a housing () for a contact device () which can be fitted to a cable (), having a first housing portion () for receiving the contact device () and a second housing portion () which can be arranged on the first housing portion (). The first housing portion () has an inlet portion () for the cable () having a cable seal (). The inlet portion () of the first housing portion () has a recess () which exposes an outer part-region of the cable seal (). The second housing portion () can be arranged on the first housing portion () in such a manner that the second housing portion () can be pressed onto the outer part-region of the cable seal () via the recess () of the inlet portion () of the first housing portion (). The invention further relates to an arrangement comprising a housing (), a contact device () and a cable ().

The invention relates to a spring element, to a plug-in connection and to a contact element with an electrically conductive spring element which is in contact with the contact element and which is provided to establish an electrical contact to a mating contact element. The spring element has the form of an open band which is at least partially rolled up along a longitudinal axis.

The present invention relates to high-current plug-in connectors, in particular to unipolar high-current plug-in connectors for wind turbine generator systems, which can be arranged beside one another in a space-saving manner and can also meet high requirements on the current-carrying capacity. According to the invention, this is achieved in that cross-sections of which the longitudinal extent exceeds the transverse extent are selected for the plug-in and coupling contact. This means that the dimension in the transverse direction can be restricted and simultaneously the cable cross-section and the contact surface required from an electrical point of view are provided by the increased longitudinal extent. Moreover, the plug and the coupling comprise a visible mechanical coding, which prevents accidental reversal of the polarity of adjacently arranged cables.

High-current plug-in connector

The present invention relates to high-current plug connectors, in particular to electrical contact elements for plug connectors of this type, which are distinguished by low heating even at high currents, and to a corresponding method for manufacturing contact elements of this type. According to the invention, for this purpose, the contact element is made in one piece by internal high-pressure forming from a tubular blank. As a result, the contact element has at each point substantially the same line cross section, so that no local electrical or thermal load peaks can occur.
