The invention relates to a radar antenna arrangement () for a vehicle (), comprising at least one vehicle component (), wherein the radar antenna arrangement () comprises a plurality of radar devices () which are configured to transmit and/or receive a radar beam (). The radar devices () are arranged on a component surface () of the vehicle component (). The invention provides for the radar antenna arrangement () to comprise at least one antenna row () for determining an azimuthal angle () of the radar beam (), said antenna row comprising a plurality of the radar devices (). Directly adjacent radar devices () have respective horizontal distances () from one another. The radar antenna arrangement () comprises at least one antenna column () for determining an elevation angle () of the radar beam (), said antenna column comprising a plurality of the radar devices (). Directly adjacent radar devices () have respective vertical distances () from one another. The at least one antenna row () and the at least one antenna column () include an angle α of between 5 degrees and 180 degrees.

A radar system having at least one radar transmission unit, at least one radar reception unit, a central unit, and a glass fiber for connecting these units, wherein the central unit has a central optical transmission unit to provide an optical radar driver signal, and wherein the at least one radar transmission unit has an optical reception unit and a radar transmitter, wherein the optical reception unit receives the optical radar driver signal and converts the optical radar driver signal into an electrical radar driver signal and provides the electrical radar driver signal for driving the radar transmitter, wherein the at least one radar reception unit includes a radar receiver, a mixer and an optical modulation unit. System and method for optical sampling without an optical source

An electromechanical brake booster having a plunger rod for connecting a brake pedal lever to a brake master cylinder, a gear motor, which is coupled with the plunger rod, and a control device for driving the gear motor. A pedal force variable representing the pedal force and a plunger rod motion variable representing the motion of the plunger rod are supplied to the control device as input variables. The control device is configured to determine a setpoint return velocity for the plunger rod with the aid of the plunger rod motion variable and an actual return velocity for the plunger rod and the pedal force variable from the setpoint return velocity and to generate an activation signal for the gear motor. This makes it possible to improve the brake release behavior and to reduce high Bernoulli forces at the end stop for the starting position of the brake pedal lever.

A method for generating an optical frequency comb with a defined number of frequency comb lines with an adjustable spacing therebetween includes generating an input frequency comb comprising a multiplicity of input frequency comb lines with a light source. An optical pulse delay generator is provided. The optical pulse delay generator includes a first optical converter which is dispersive and separates the spectral components of the incoming optical pulse in a time domain. The first optical converter generating a converted optical signal. The optical pulse delay generator also includes a modulator to modulate the converted optical signal and to generate a modulated optical signal and a second optical converter connected to the modulator. The second optical converter being dispersive for overlaying the previously separated spectral components in the time domain and generating the delayed optical output pulse. The dispersion imposed by the second optical converter has the same amount of dispersion, but the opposite sign, as the first optical converter. At least one of the first and second optical converter includes at least two waveguide resonator rings which differ in their optical length.

A compression stocking () made of a knit or woven elastic fabric provided with a compression body () which can be attached to the compression stocking () such that the compression body is positioned at a knee joint (). The compression stocking () of the invention can be used, for example, after surgery in the area of the knee joint (). To get rid of the wound secretion, blood and tissue fluid that occurs during surgery from the soft tissue surrounding the joint, a defined pressure is applied by the compression stocking () and the compression body () to the soft tissue of the knee joint (). To this end, the compression body () has a recess () to accommodate the patella of the knee joint (). The recess () and the compression body () each have an elliptical shape, which is approximately adapted to the shape of the patella, i.e., the joint soft tissue. To accommodate the wound suture and associated wound clamps, the compression body () has a groove-shaped recess () on the surface facing the soft tissue of the knee joint ().
