An X-ray device for carrying out X-ray scans is configured for a simplified procedure. The X-ray device has an image receptor which operates in conjunction with an X-ray generator to carry out X-ray scans of a patient, and a patient table. A tabletop of the patient table which is used to position the patient during the X-ray scans, is immovable in the table plane. Instead, the image receptor is disposed in a longitudinally and transversely movable manner relative to the tabletop parallel to the table plane.

X-ray device and method for medical imaging

A first x-ray image is acquired at a predetermined position of a focal point and with a first orientation of an x-ray tube of an x-ray device. Subsequently, the x-ray tube is adjusted by rotating about a predetermined angle and by positioning, wherein the focal point is situated in the predetermined position prior to the adjustment and after the adjustment. After the adjustment, the x-ray tube is situated in a second orientation. Subsequently, a second x-ray image is acquired at the predetermined position and with the second orientation. A combined x-ray image from at least the first and second x-ray image is produced.

Method for imaging by means of an X-ray device and X-ray device

A method and a device for fine adjustment of the reconstruction plane of a digital combination image from individual images of a digital radiology system. The device includes an interface for providing individual images of an object. The individual images have overlapping regions with one another. A distance controller, with which the distance A of the individual images can be changed. A processing unit calculates a current combination image from the individual images. The individual images are each shifted by the distance A in relation to one another. A display unit displays the current combination image from the individual images. There is also described an image evaluation system and/or digital radiology system which includes the device.

Device and method for fine adjustment of the reconstruction plane of a digital combination image

A transportable flat X-ray detector includes a housing with a grip and an active surface with a scintillator layer and semiconductor layer including a multiplicity of pixel elements arranged in a matrix. Further, gripping elements such as gripping holes, depressions, pits or gripping troughs are provided in the housing at the edge of the flat X-ray detector, outside the active surface.

Transportable flat x-ray detector

A method is disclosed for protecting a medical device against unauthorized removal from a predefined location area. To this end the device to be protected and/or at least one further device in the predefined location area transmits protection signals. The protection signals transmitted by the device to be protected and/or the protection signals received by the device to be protected are then evaluated and a specific operating state of the device to be protected is activated as a function of a result of the evaluation. A corresponding system for protecting a medical device and a medical device for use with such a protection method or system is also described.

Method for protecting a medical device

X-ray device with at least one switch for triggering a signal and at least one receiver for the signal are provided. The receiver may be arranged remote from the switch. The switch () includes an energy converter for converting the mechanical energy expended in the event of the switch being triggered into electrical energy. The signal can then be wirelessly transmitted to the receiver () by way of a radio link.

X-ray device

In an X-ray installation comprising an X-ray source, a patient support, an X-ray detector and an electronic evaluation system, a distance is determined from an extremity of a patient which is to be imaged to the X-ray detector and is made available as an electronic data value to the electronic evaluation system. If the distance from the X-ray source to the X-ray detector as an electronic data value is also known, then a scale can be calculated for the X-ray image from the two distances on the basis of the imaging laws for the generation of the X-ray image, which scale can be faded into the X-ray image or else electronically assigned to this image for an interrogation of coordinates.

A mobile X-ray detector system is disclosed including a mobile X-ray detector and a mobile dosimeter arranged on the X-ray detector, at least during operation. Furthermore, an X-ray facility is disclosed for cooperating with such an X-ray detector system, an X-ray system including such an X-ray facility, and a corresponding X-ray detector system, as well as a mobile dosimeter and a mobile X-ray detector for constructing such an X-ray detector system.

An x-ray detector includes a detector plate having a multiplicity of detector elements arranged in the X direction and the Y direction, accommodated in a housing. To increase the robustness, the detector plate is accommodated in the housing in a floating manner by using at least one damping element.

X-ray detector

An apparatus for radiation image recording includes a radiation receiver to which radiation can be applied and which converts the incident radiation to an electrical charge which represents a measure of the incident radiation and which can be read line-by-line via a reading device. It further includes a scattered beam grid, which is associated with the radiation receiver and which includes absorption elements which run in straight lines. The absorption elements are arranged at an angle to the line-by-line reading direction.

An x-ray support device, including a radiation source and a radiation receiver, which are both movably supported on the ceiling either via a common support or each via separate supports, in which a support has a first boom rotatable about an essentially vertical pivot axis and extending essentially horizontally, and a second boom disposed rotatably about a vertical axis and extending essentially horizontally, on which the radiation source and/or the radiation receiver are supported directly or indirectly.

X-ray support device

A medical imaging examination device has an X-ray source, a reception unit for receiving the X-rays that penetrate a patient, an operating device for operation of the examination device by an operator, and a memory device wherein images are or can be stored in electronically readable form. The images can be X-ray images registered in earlier examinations or images that simulate X-ray images. A selection device reads out one of the stored images out from the memory device dependent on a desired examination region of the patient and displays it on a display device before the examination of the examination region with X-rays. The operating personnel, possibly in conjunction with a control functionality of the examination device are thus provided with a visualization of an X-ray image to be anticipated.

Medical imaging examination facility

An X-ray apparatus has a radiation source, an interchangeable radiation filter and an area dose measuring device having a measurement chamber with an allocated evaluation device for determining the area dose product on the basis of a measured signal provided by the measurement chamber. The measurement chamber is arranged preceding the filter in the beam path with reference to the radiation propagation direction. A detector recognizes the nature and/or the type of radiation filter that is currently inserted in the beam path. The evaluation device corrects the area dose product that is calculated from the measured signal from the measurement chamber on the basis of at least one filter-specific correction value that is selected as a result of the detection of the filter nature and/or type.

X-ray apparatus with interchangeable filter and area dose measuring device

An X-ray examination device for mounting at a ceiling of an examination room has a support mechanism for a patient to be examined, a first adjustment device attachable to the ceiling for holding and moving an X-ray radiator, and a second adjustment device attachable to the ceiling for holding and moving a radiation receiver. The adjustment devices are arranged and fashioned such that the X-ray radiator as well as the radiation receiver can be brought from one side with respect to the middle longitudinal axis of the support mechanism onto the opposite side. The adjustment devices each have guide rails at which transverse carriers are movable. The X-ray examination device allows an especially large number of examination techniques and transillumination perspectives.
