A dynamoelectric rotary machine includes a stator, which has a winding system arranged in grooves disposed between teeth of a magnetically conductive body and a winding head on the end faces of the stator in each case. A rotor with a cage ring is arranged rotatably about an axis and during operation of the dynamoelectric rotary machine is in electromagnetic interaction in a motor-driven or generator-driven manner with the winding system of the stator arranged in the grooves by way of an air gap. Comb-type elements are disposed on the end faces of the stator. The comb-type elements assume an extensive intermediate space between the winding system projecting from the end faces of the stator, so that tonal noises which are produced during operation of such an electric machine are at least reduced.

A method for securing a level crossing permits timely securing of the level crossing and is particularly effective and reliable. The method proceeds in such a way that vehicle data are received from a track-bound vehicle approaching the level crossing by a stationary control device of a train control system. The vehicle data include at least the current position and the current speed of the track-bound vehicle. A strike-in point is determined on the basis of the received vehicle data and route data including at least the location of the level crossing. Securing of the level crossing is triggered when the strike-in point is reached. A stationary control device for a train control system and an arrangement having such a stationary control device are also provided.

A method secures a railroad crossing which allows a timely securing of the railroad crossing, and is particularly efficient and reliable. The method proceeds in such a way that sensor data relating to a rail-borne vehicle approaching the railroad crossing are detected by a track-side sensor device. The sensor data contains at least the current speed of the rail-borne vehicle. The detected sensor data are transmitted by the track-side sensor device to a stationary control device. A switch-on time is determined by the stationary control device taking into account the transmitted sensor data and route data. Upon reaching the switch-on time, the securing of the railroad crossing is initiated by the stationary control device. After the railroad crossing has been successfully secured, a travel permission that extends beyond the railroad crossing is determined by a control device of a train control system, and is transmitted to the rail-borne vehicle.

The present invention provides an airbag connector system comprising an airbag squib connector adapted to be mated with a corresponding airbag squib socket, whereby the airbag squib connector comprises a connector housing with a connection tube. The connection tube is provided with at least one reversed locking arm adapted to lock the airbag squib connector to the airbag squib socket, whereby the reversed locking arm extends from a flexible torsion element provided at an insertion sided end of the connection tube in a direction essentially opposing the insertion direction of the airbag squib connector into the corresponding socket. Thereby, the flexible torsion element is adapted to deform and thereby enable a deflection of the reversed locking arm upon insertion of the airbag squib connector into the airbag squib socket.

A method operates a railway safety system having at least one trackside device while taking into account a measured velocity value recorded when the rail vehicle drives into a switch-on section of the railway safety system. In order to minimize the closing times for a level crossing by such a method, the measured velocity value is used as the basis for checking whether a correction time for forwarding a signal from the one trackside device to an associated railway safety assembly is to be set according to the measured velocity value when the rail vehicle drives into the switch-on section. Thereafter, a set correction time is checked to determine if the set correction time should remain effective according to at least one further influencing variable of the rail vehicle that determines the travel time. A secured bearing arrangement for at least one journal of a universal joint, said journal being rotatable about an axis of rotation while being mounted in a housing. The bearing arrangement comprises at least one universal joint housing that is provided with at least one bore which extends in the direction of an axis and has an internal surface as a bearing surface. A bearing bush which has a bearing axis and inside which the journal is mounted so as to be rotatable about its axis or rotation, is mounted on the internal surface within the bore. A securing element allows the bearing bush to be secured within the bore in one axial direction of the bearing axis, said one axial direction facing away from the journal. The invention relates to electrical connector systems including a first connector provided with a plug-portion and a retainer adapted to act together with the plug-portion. The retainer further includes a sleeve portion which is adapted to be arranged in a mating connector socket and which is in turn adapted to receive at least a part of the plug-portion of the first connector therein. The connector system includes a first sealing member adapted to provide a sealing between the sleeve portion and inner walls of the mating connector socket; and a second sealing member, which is adapted to be arranged between the retainer and the first connector to provide a sealing between retainer and first connector.

The invention relates to sealable squib connectors, in particular for airbag ignition systems. The connector including a connector housing with a plug-in projection, which plug-in projection has a mating face at its distal end; a seal expansion element; and a resilient sealing ring provided at the mating face of the plug-in projection between the mating face and the seal expansion element. The seal expansion element is being movable against the mating direction towards the mating face from an open position to a closed position thereby expanding the sealing ring.

A permanent magnet (PM) rotor has a plurality of partial laminated stacks that are interspaced in the axial direction at a defined distance, thereby defining radial cooling slots. Permanent magnets are arranged in every partial laminated stack in inner pockets. The dimension of every permanent magnet in the axial direction does not or only insignificantly exceed the axial dimensions of the respective partial laminated stack. During assembly, the permanent magnets can be axially pushed through the inner pockets to the respective partial laminated stack (). The rotor has a very high degree of efficiency.

In the case of a fuel pump, a plug for fixing electric contacts is manufactured from a material which is capable of swelling with fuel, and is inserted into a receptacle of a connecting piece by being fitted therein. Furthermore, the plug and the connecting piece have latching means for simplifying the pre-assembly.
