Provided is a DC current damper for a medium voltage or high voltage transformer. The DC current damper includes at least one pair of diodes. The two diodes in each pair of diodes are in an anti-parallel configuration. The at least one pair of diodes is configured to be connected between a neutral connection of a medium voltage or high voltage transformer and ground potential.

A device support assembly for an electrical device, in particular a transformer or a power transformer, includes: a plurality of retaining units arranged on the device itself; and a support arrangement which has a plurality of load stabilizers. The electrical device is set down on the load stabilizers by the retaining units in an end position and/or rests and is arranged between the load stabilizers, at least in portions, after being set down.

Device support assembly

Exemplary embodiments include a fluid insulated high voltage coil having closed tank for an insulation fluid and a high voltage coil arranged therein with at least two taps. An insulation tube extends into the tank, where the inner part of the tube is accessible from an outer side of the tank. Electric contact elements extend through the tube walls along its longitudinal axis, where at least some of the contact elements are electrically connected with the taps. A removable column-like electrical interaction device is arranged within the inner part of the insulation tube, which is electrically connected to the at least two taps by means of the contact elements.
