A separator for separating liquid from a gas flow is provided with a nozzle carrier element provided with a nozzle arrangement having one or more nozzles. An impact element is arranged downstream in flow direction of the gas flow at least partially opposite the nozzle arrangement. A permanent cover device is provided that covers at least one of the one or more nozzles of the nozzle arrangement. The permanent cover device reduces by at least 50% a through-flow of the gas flow through the at least one of the one or more nozzles of the nozzle arrangement compared to the one or more nozzles of the nozzle arrangement that are free from the permanent cover device. An assembly kit for producing such a separator is provided with a nozzle carrier element with nozzle arrangement and one or more nozzles, an impact element, a cover device, and a liquid reservoir.

Disclosed is a hermetically closed battery degas venting unit for venting a battery enclosure/pack/housing having rechargeable vehicle batteries. The unit having a housing base equipped with a non-porous rupturable venting film closing over and sealing off the pressure venting opening. The non-porous venting film configured to deflect towards a spike in response to overpressure and to tear or rupture to release overpressure in the battery enclosure/pack/housing.

A valve body is arranged in the valve body holder and axially displaceable between an open state and a closed state of the valve. It has a base region adjoining the sealing region in longitudinal direction. A cross section contour of the envelope surface increases monotonously from the sealing region to the base region. In the open state, an axial end of the base region contacts the valve body holder. The envelope surface has a weakened region connecting sealing region and base region to each other. The weakened region has a reduced stiffness along the longitudinal direction. The valve body is formed of a thermoplastic polyhalogen olefin.

The separating region has a surface structure that is monolithically formed with the at least one deflector body.
