A roller blind cassette for receiving a roller blind shaft and a roller blind which in the stowed state is wound onto the roller blind shaft and in a functional state is drawn in a longitudinal direction through an exit slot of the roller blind cassette. The cassette has a housing with a hollow section slotted along its length and extending in a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction and forming the exit slot of the roller blind cassette. Two opposite edge regions extend on both sides of the slot of the hollow section and are connected to one another in the region of two opposite ends of the hollow section by a connecting bridge, the connecting bridge being connected to one of the edge regions by a connecting arrangement that counters in a positive manner the freedom of the connecting bridge to rotate at the edge region.

A protection device of this type includes a flexible sheetlike structure which is mounted movably between a compactly stored inoperative position and at least one at least partially extended functional position and is provided at the end thereof which is in front in the extension direction with a planar and dimensionally stable contour part which extends substantially over an entire width of the sheetlike structure. Control kinematics are assigned to a movement end region of the contour part shortly before the extended end position is reached, the control kinematics shifting the contour part forwards in the extension direction by an additional extension distance.

Protection device for a vehicle interior

A protection device for a vehicle interior has a flexible sheet-like structure which is arranged movably between a compactly put-away rest position and an extended functional position and which is connected on the end side transversely to the direction of extension over its width to a dimensionally stable profiled part. The sheet-like structure has a sheet-like section which is extended over its width and is connected extensively and cohesively to a sheet-like section of an outer casing of the profiled part.
