A residential outdoor luminaire having a combined junction box and mounting arm that allows for canopy mounting as well as mounting on a vertical surface is provided. The luminaire housing has a rear beveled mount surface which engages a junction box mounting arm. The junction box mounting arm has at least one side wall and a hollow interior with an outwardly extending mounting flange. The sidewall has a beveled mounting face engageable with the rear bevel mount surface of the luminaire such that the junction box mounting arm may be mounted against a vertical or horizontal surface while maintaining the luminaire in a similar orientation with respect to the area being illuminated.

A lens frame for mounting and cooling LEDs is described. The lens frame () may be continuous and attachable to a luminaire () having a luminaire housing () with an opening (). The lens frame () may extend across and close the opening () of the luminaire housing (). The lens frame () may include a recessed support surface (), a lens attachment area () positioned outward from and peripherally of the support surface (), and heat dissipating structure () located peripherally of the support surface (). A plurality of LEDs () may be coupled to the support surface () of the lens frame () exteriorly of the luminaire housing () and a lens () may be coupled to the lens retaining area () of the lens frame ().

A gasket for a vandal resistant luminaire, the gasket is constructed to be disposed between an electrical component housing and a lens wherein the lens is held to the electrical component housing with a front trim ring surrounding an outer portion thereof. The gasket is designed to form a seal between the lens and electrical component housing and absorb physical shock placed on the lens and/or the electrical component housing.

A rear trim ring for a vandal resistant luminaire having a round front and rear opening, the rear opening mounts flush to the surface onto which the luminaire is installed eliminating pry points between the luminaire and mounting surface, and an annular space between the rear trim ring and a luminaire housing provides room for the rear trim ring to deform upon the application of physical shock absorbing a portion of the shock applied thereto.

A trim ring for a vandal resistant luminaire, the trim ring is disposed about an electrical component housing and a lens and holds the lens to the electrical component housing. The trim ring is designed to protect the luminaire by absorbing physical shock exerted on the luminaire and provide an aesthetic pleasing design. Twist locks depend from an inner annular surface of the trim ring which cooperate with retaining legs on the electrical component housing providing for access to the internal components of the vandal resistant luminaire.

An indirector light fixture in combination with a leveling device which is utilized to position the light fixture at least one of a plurality of preselected angles. A method is also described for positioning the fixture at the at least one of the preselected angles.

A multiple position luminaire is described having a hinged lens frame and lens. The lens rotates about a hinge affixed to the luminaire housing, the lens frame being sealed against the luminaire housing with a double gasket seal, a first seal interposed between the lens frame and the housing and the second seal being a plurality of gasket fingers contacting an inner surface of the luminaire side wall.

An indirector light fixture is described wherein the fixture is comprised of a reflector housing and a ballast housing connected together by a support arm. The reflector housing may be positioned relative to the ballast housing by movement of the support arm and maintained therein by a ratchet and pawl mechanism or other rotational restriction device. The ballast housing and ballast electronics are connected to the lamp within the reflector housing by ballast feed wires which are maintained internal of the entire fixture thereby preventing the wires from becoming entangled during installation or after installation. Additional structure is provided to further allow adjustment of the head angle relative to the ballast housing.

Luminaire

A multiple position luminaire is described having the ability to convert to multiple classifications. The luminaire claimed and described has a multiple position mounting surface on the back of the housing, the housing enclosing a lamp which is surrounded by a reflector. The luminaire mounts to a mounting bracket which allows the luminaire to be mounted in a plurality of positions and angles, the bracket engaging the multiple position mounting surface of the luminaire housing to be positioned either in multiple angle face down positions or multiple angle face up positions.
