A telecommunications enclosure is provided with reliable sealing around cables entering therein. The enclosure includes one or more cable ports with cable seals made from a material that includes an oil-bleed silicone rubber. The cable ports may also have a convoluted or serrated inner surface configured to engage and support the cable seals.

An enclosure system for receiving a cable includes an enclosure having an inner chamber and an open position exposing the inner chamber and a closed position covering the inner chamber. A cable receiving port in a wall of the enclosure extends along a longitudinal axis from outside of the enclosure into the inner chamber. The cable receiving port is configured to receive a cable therein when the cable is advanced axially into the port without rotation of the cable when the enclosure is in the closed position. A mating member is associated with the cable receiving port that limits rotation of the cable when the cable is advanced axially into the port. An axial retention member is associated with the cable receiving port that limits axial movement of the cable out of the port when the cable is advanced axially into the port to a lock position.

A fiber optic cable retention module includes a housing with a base. A first section extends from the base and defines a pocket for receiving strength members of a fiber optic cable. A second section extends from the base and defines slots that receive a retention member having a generally U shaped frame. The frame has first and second arms extending therefrom that define a cable receiving slot therebetween.

Aspects of the present disclosure relate to a fiber management structure including a splice tray. The splice tray includes a front side and a back side. The fiber management structure includes a first attachment module that mounts by a location-selectable connection to the splice tray at a selected mounting location. The selected mounting location being one of a plurality of different mounting locations at which the first attachment module can be mounted to the splice tray. The first attachment module includes a fiber containment wall that projects upwardly from the front side of the splice tray when the first attachment module is mounted to the splice tray.

A strain relief clamp system and method include a base with a plurality of plates arranged in a stack on the base. A fastener, such as a bolt having a nut threaded thereon, is situated to selectively draw the plates against the base so as to clamp a fiber optic cable strength member received between adjacent plates.

A multi-drop closure system for containing and managing a bundle of optical fibers includes an enclosure and a slack basket system. The enclosure defines a slack basket chamber to hold the bundle of optical fibers. The slack basket system includes a retainer tab assembly mounted in the enclosure. The retainer tab assembly includes a tab member movable between: an open position, wherein the tab member is positioned to provide more open access to the slack basket chamber and thereby enable the bundle of optical fibers to be more easily inserted into, removed from, and/or manipulated in the slack basket chamber; and a retaining position, wherein the tab member overlaps the slack basket chamber to retain the bundle of optical fibers in the slack basket chamber.
