An electrically powered drive system for a medical device includes a motor, a gear box driven by the motor, a driving member for moving a part of the device, a crank mechanism, and a push-pull mechanism. The crank mechanism includes first and second crank arms each having a connection end and a distal end. The first crank arm's distal end is pivotally connected to the driving member. The second crank arm's connection end is pivotally connected to the first crank arm's connection end. The second crank arm's distal end is pivotally connected to a stationary member. The push-pull mechanism is connected to and driven by an output member of the gear box to drive the crank mechanism to move the driving member between a retracted position and an extended position.

Electrically powered drive system for medical device

A solenoid valve has a valve body with first and second passages; a coil wound around a coil bobbin; a stator with a third passage; a plunger having a through hole therein; a flux return device; and a spring. When the coil is energized, the plunger is attracted toward the stator such that the plunger closes the third passage, and connects the first passage with the second passage through the through hole in the coil bobbin. When the coil is not energized, the plunger moves away from the stator such that the plunger closes the first passage, and connects the second passage with the third passage. A resilient gasket between the stator and the flux return device reduces vibration from direct contact between the plunger and the stator, being transmitted to the flux return device, thereby reducing vibration and noise.

Solenoid valve

A planetary gear transmission has a gearbox, multiple stages of planetary gears, and an output shaft. Except for the last stage, each planetary gear stage shares a common first internal gear ring. Each stage has a sun gear, a planet carrier, and multiple planet gears. The sun gear of each stage, except for the first stage is integrally formed with or fixed to the planet carrier of an immediately preceding stage. The last stage of the transmission has a second internal gear ring. The planet gears of the last stage mesh with the second internal gear ring. The second internal gear ring includes a support portion, and the output shaft passes through and is rotatably supported by the support portion.

Planetary gear transmission

A solenoid valve has a valve body with first and second ports. A bobbin is mounted to the valve body. A winding is wound on the bobbin. A stator is fitted to one end of a hole through the bobbin and defines a third port therein. A plunger is slidably fitted to the hole and movable between a normal position and an energized position. Two plugs are installed at respective ends of the plunger and arranged to selectively close the first and third ports. A flux return device is fixed to the stator and the bobbin. A spring returns the plunger from the energized position, where the plunger closes the third port and the first and second ports communicate with each other via the hole in the bobbin, to the normal position, where the plunger closes the first port and the second and third ports communicate with each.
