A linear-acting electric pump unit and method for operating said unit. A linear-acting electric pump unit comprises an electromagnet and a pump unit. It is to be suitable for delivering gas/liquid mixtures. In order that it may be compactly assembled with other devices, it is to have a central inlet. The fluid delivered by the pump unit flows through the electromagnet and enters the pump unit on one side and leaves it on the other through the non-return valves, each arranged on the same centre line as the electromagnet. The pump unit can be used for delivery of gas/liquid mixtures, preferably in the sphere of combustion engines and their fuel supply systems and exhaust emission control systems.

Linear-acting electric pump unit and method for operating said unit

A multiflow pump for fluids, having an electromagnetic translator drive, a displacement piston unit, a pump head, and at least one outlet valve device. The displacement piston contains a bearing journal with a spring receptacle, a carrier plate, and a plurality of pump pistons, wherein the displacement piston unit is configured in one piece.

An electromagnet and method for producing an electromagnet. The electromagnet includes a sheet metal casing encompassing a magnetic coil at its end face on a magnetic pole side and extends into an interior of the magnetic coil and forms, in this case, a magnetic pole which interacts with a magnet keeper. The electromagnet enables actuation of a valve, a coupling or a reciprocating pump. The structure is achieved with as few cutting processes as possible to be used for generating the individual parts and as small a number as possible of individual parts is to be used per electromagnet.

Electromagnet and method to produce the electromagnet

The magnetic part is a pre-assembled subassembly that can be tested separately and is overmolded with plastic material; the connection point to the pump part has a given connecting contour that allows different types of pump parts of the modular system to be connected; and the pump part is a pre-assembled subassembly that can be tested for the displaced volume thereof. The invention relates to a reciprocating piston pump having a magnet drive and a first displacement chamber and a second displacement chamber, which are separated from each other by a piston, wherein both displacement chambers are connected to each other by a fluid-conducting channel. An overflow valve is arranged in the channel and allows a preferred flow from the first displacement chamber to the second displacement chamber, wherein an additional return valve is arranged either in a transition region between an inlet and the first displacement chamber or in a transition region between the second displacement chamber and an outlet, an armature of the magnet drive being firmly connected to the piston.

Pressure-regulating reciprocating-piston pump having a magnet drive

A switchable pressure limiting valve with an electromagnet () and with a device () for opening and closing a passage for the fluid stream. The opening of the valve is determined by the balance of forces at the tappet () upon which the pressure force of the fluid at the P-connection (), the pressure force of the fluid at the T-connection () and the forces of two springs () and () act. The force of the spring () is varied by means of the position of the armature of the electromagnet. When the pressure force at the P-connection () outweighs the sum of the other forces, the valve opens. The above-mentioned device for opening and closing is composed of a diaphragm () and of a sealing seat (), and this diaphragm is tension-mounted sealingly between the magnetic pole () and the housing ().
