A throttle valve for controlling a fluid flow includes a throttle housing (), a gas passage () in the throttle housing (), a throttle shaft () which is pivotably supported in the throttle housing (), and a throttle () which is connected to the throttle shaft (). The throttle shaft () extends through a jacket () which is provided on the throttle () and at least partially encompasses the throttle shaft (). After the throttle () is installed on the throttle shaft (), a hardening filler material () creates a form-fit connection between the throttle () and the throttle shaft ().
