A system may include a power module that includes a group of power supplies, particular ones of the group of power supplies being operable at a group of voltages ranging from a first voltage to a second voltage. The system may further include a controller coupled to the particular ones of the group of power supplies, the controller being to ramp up an output voltage, associated with the group of power supplies, from the first voltage to the second voltage in a group of discrete steps; where ramping up the output voltage by a particular one of the group of discrete steps is performed while a load is receiving power from the group of power supplies; and where ramping up the output voltage by a particular one of the group of discrete steps prevents over-current protection on the group of power supplies from being activated.

N+1 power supply system upgrade using dual output power supplies

A rollover meter device is disclosed that prevents vehicle rollover and minimizes the harm and damage caused if a rollover occurs. The rollover meter device comprises a meter housing component and a digital display component that displays the current angle of the vehicle. The meter housing component comprises microelectromechanical sensors (MEMS), such as a gyro component and two tri-axial accelerometer components which are mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB), along with LED warning lights, which is then secured behind the digital display inside the meter housing component. Furthermore, the meter housing component can be in electrical communication with a vehicle's gas supply, ignition, blade rotation, Power Take Off (PTO), and/or wireless device.

Dynamic rollover meter

The present invention provides a cost effective method to improve the performance of communication appliances by retargeting the graphics processing unit as a coprocessor to accelerate networking operations. A system and method is disclosed for using a coprocessor on a standard personal computer to accelerate packet processing operations common to network appliances. The appliances include but are not limited to routers, switches, load balancers and Unified Threat Management appliances. More specifically, the method uses common advanced graphics processor engines to accelerate the packet processing tasks.

System and method for a fast, programmable packet processing system

A network device for processing data packets includes an encryption services module, a number of network interfaces and a forwarding module. A network interface receives a packet requiring encryption services and forwards the packet. The forwarding module receives at least a portion of the data packet, where the portion includes header information. The forwarding module identifies a security association for the data packet, appends the security association to the portion of the data packet and forwards the portion of the data packet including the security association to the encryption services module. The encryption services module processes the packet in accordance with the security association.
