A method of manufacturing a sealing fluidic component based on a capillary enclosing a fluid conduit and having an exterior surface being at least partially coated with a coating of a meltable material, wherein the method comprises melting the meltable material of the coating at least at an end portion of the capillary, and resolidifying the melted material to thereby form, at the end portion, a sealing integral with the coating and constituted at least partially by the meltable material.

A sealing element for sealing a fluidic connection between a coupling element and a tubular element and thereby providing a sealed flow path through the tubular element and between the coupling element and the tubular element in a longitudinal direction, the sealing element comprising: a recess extending in the longitudinal direction, the recess configured to receive the tubular element; a transverse wall defining an extent of the recess in the longitudinal direction, the transverse wall having a through hole.

Sealing element for a fluidic connection

A fitting coupler is provided configured for coupling a planar fluid conduit and a fluidic device. The fluidic device comprises a cavity, a device conduit, and a mouth where the device conduit opens into the cavity. A contact pressure element is configured for sealingly pressing the planar fluid conduit to the mouth, so that a conduit opening of the planar fluid conduit opens into the mouth.

A frame for a microfluidic chip may be used together with a laboratory apparatus. The frame is adapted at least for one of the following features: receiving the microfluidic chip; protecting the microfluidic chip; and, positioning the microfluidic chip relative to the frame. The microfluidic chip is movable relative to the frame.

Microfluidic chip frame

A tri-axial handling apparatus, in particular for fluid analysis devices, for example for micro-fluid analysis. The handling apparatus comprises at least three axle bodies, each exhibiting a guide component and a carrier component, which by means of a drive is translationally movable on the guide component in the direction of an axis of movement. A guide component of a first axial body is secured to the carrier component of a second axial body, whose guide component is secured to the carrier component of a third axial body. Preferably, each drive for the respective carrier component is a linear motor, which is secured to the respective axle body.

Tri-axial handling apparatus

A mechanism for compensating the gravitational force acting on a slider of a linear motor, in particular of an electro-magnetic direct linear motor, and acting on a load to be carried and moved by the slider. To compensate for the gravitational force, the mechanism exhibits a spring element, which exerts an elastic restoring force against the gravitational force on the slider.
