A detector module for an x-ray detector is disclosed. In an embodiment, the detector module includes a plurality of sensor boards arranged adjacent to one another on a module carrier. Each sensor board is arranged in a stack formation and includes a sensor layer with a sensor surface, to which a bias voltage can be applied in order to detect x-ray radiation. A voltage supply line is arranged in the stack formation along a lateral surface of the stack formation of each sensor board in order to apply the bias voltage. Moreover, an x-ray detector is disclosed for recording an image of an object irradiated by x-ray radiation, the x-ray detector including a plurality a number of detector modules arranged adjacent to one another.

Detector module for an x-ray detector

A sensor chip, in particular for computerized tomography detectors, including an analog-digital converter electrically connected to an element detecting radiation. A problem addressed is that of defining a sensor chip which is as cost-efficient and reliable as possible. According to an embodiment of the invention, only one single crystalline base plate is used, on which all required components of the sensor chip are applied. A through-contact between the conductor paths or the contacts of both sides of the base plate is used as applicable in order to connect the components of both sides to each other.

Production method of a sensor chip and computerized tomography detector

A detector module for a radiation detector is disclosed. In at least one embodiment, the detector module includes a converter layer with contacts, arranged distributed over an area on the rear side, for transmitting electrical signals, wherein the contacts are routed, by way of rewiring, to target contacts on a target region that is smaller than this area. This provides the conditions for simple and secure signal routing between the contacts on the converter layer and readout electronics. In particular, this is successful if a substrate layer used for stabilization purposes has a cutout for the target region, through which cutout the target contacts are directly connected to the signal-routing lines of readout electronics.

An X-ray detector is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the invention, the X-ray detector includes at least two adjacently arranged detector elements, to each of which a high voltage is applied in order to detect incident X-rays. In this case, two adjacent detector elements are coupled to one another by way of a protection circuit, designed to limit a voltage difference between the two adjacent detector elements to a voltage value which is non-critical with regard to the formation of a flashover between the two detector elements.

A method is disclosed for transmitting measurement data from a transmitter system to a receiver system by way of a transmission link of a medical device. In an embodiment, the measurement data, as input data of a transformation method, is transformed to output values and, after transmission, back transformed again, the values of the input data lying between a maximum value and a minimum value and an assignment function being used for compression purposes, to allocate an output value to every value of the input data, a root function being used as the assignment function for at least some of the values.

In a method, with a current measurement, the history of the radiation exposure of the X-ray detector is taken into account with respect to the overall X-ray detector or subareas of the X-ray detector, in respect of a reduction in the measurement sensitivity produced as a result and a recovery of the reduction in the measurement sensitivity, and the determined measuring signal is corrected with a correction factor which is dependent on the history of the radiation exposure. Furthermore, an X-ray recording system includes a detector which includes a plurality of detector elements, which are read out in groups channel by channel and a read-out apparatus with computer-assisted device for correcting read-out detector data prior to a further processing of the detector data to form projective or tomographic images.

A grid module of a scattered-radiation grid is disclosed. The scattered-radiation grid includes a number of grid modules disposed next to one another with a plurality of webs, especially for use in conjunction with a CT detector, a CT detector and a CT system with such a detector. In accordance with an embodiment of the invention, at the joining surfaces of the grid modules, the webs located there are provided with breakthroughs to compensate for a disproportionate reduction in scattered radiation.

A method is disclosed for acquiring measured data by way of a computed tomography system, wherein the measured data is acquired by a detector unit disposed opposite the radiation source during a rotation of a radiation source around an examination object. In at least one embodiment, the rotation is subdivided into succeeding time segments during each of which measured data is acquired, and each of the succeeding time segments has either a first length or a second length consisting of two predefined lengths.

Jitter-free spatial triggering of a detector of a CT system

A detector module is disclosed, having an array of detector elements and a printed circuit board. The printed circuit board includes a first region for holding the array of detector elements and includes at least one second region, angled off relative to the first region. On this at least one second region, signal-processing electronics may be arranged. The vertical design of the detector module allows the design of an area detector to be produced on the basis of a multiplicity of detector modules arranged next to one another. The area detector may be provided for a computer tomograph.
