A control apparatus for an anti-slide system of a rail vehicle includes a slip control device, which is designed to determine a slip between the wheel and a rail operatively connected thereto from the sensed state variables, the slip control device being designed to actuate the actuator by the output device. The control apparatus further has a slip limiting device, which is designed to specify a slip range for the slip control device, wherein the slip limiting device has at least a first operating mode and a second operating mode, which can be switched over by an operating mode signal, wherein a first slip range is assigned to the first operating mode and a second slip range is assigned to the second operating mode. A corresponding control method makes control of an actuation value for the actuator possible in order to adjust the slip in a predetermined slip range.

Control apparatus and control method for an anti-slide system

A method for improving the adhesion of a rail vehicle by conditioning selected axle(s), detects whether a higher total brake force can be achieved by changing the manipulated variable of the wheel slip at at least one unit from a current starting wheel slip to a forced wheel slip, and, if so, changes the wheel slip at at least one unit from the current starting wheel slip to the forced wheel slip by regulating the manipulated variable of the brake application force at the unit, whereby the friction ratios between the wheel and the rail changes at the subsequent units, and regulates the manipulated variable of the brake application force at the subsequent units to regulate the wheel slip, which is likewise changed by the changed friction ratios, at the units back to the unchanged manipulated variable of the starting wheel slip, optimized brake forces being produced at the units.

A device for actuating valves and determines an actuation duration for a valve of a target system from a specified actuation duration for a valve of a reference system with which a required pressure change can be achieved in the reference system in order to achieve the required pressure change in the target system. The device ascertains the effective valve opening time belonging to the specified actuation duration for the valve of the reference system, calculates the effective opening time of the valve of the target system from the effective opening time said opening time of the valve of the target system being used to achieve the same pressure change in the target system as in the reference system, and then determines a valve actuation duration required to achieve the effective opening time of the valve of the target system.

Control valve device for a rail vehicle brake

A control device for a brake system of a rail vehicle, the brake system having at least one first brake device and a second brake device, which devices can be actuated by an actuating force during a braking process. The first brake device and the second brake device are adhesion-type brake devices. The control device is capable of receiving and/or generating a loss of adhesion signal, which identifies insufficient adhesion for the first and/or second brake device, and is also designed, during a braking process, to actuate the first and/or second brake device with an increased actuating force if a loss of adhesion signal is present. Braking process for a rail vehicle

A brake device is provided with an actuator which is operated by a pressure medium, used to apply and release a vehicle brake, especially a brake of a rail vehicle, includes an actuating piston which defines two pressure chambers. One pressure chamber impinges upon the vehicle brake in an applied position and the other pressure chamber impinges upon the vehicle brake in a release position. The two pressure chambers are connected to each other by a line with an overflow valve which opens at least during part of the transition phases&#x2014;between the release position and open position&#x2014;and which is otherwise closed.
