This invention relates generally to a fluid delivery system comprising a first source of fluid medium a first pressurizing device associated with the first source of fluid medium, a second source of fluid medium, a second pressurizing device associated with the second source of fluid medium, a fluid path operable to deliver the first and second fluid media to a balloon catheter in a patient, and a control unit in communication with the first and second pressurizing devices.

System and method for inflating a balloon catheter and delivering fluid media to a patient

This invention relates generally to the field of medical devices for delivering contrast media during medical diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures and more particularly, this invention relates to improved contrast media delivery systems and methods of use which allow adjustment of contrast media concentration and injection parameters either before or during an injection procedure to provide patient specific dosing of contrast media, thus decreasing the waste and cost of these procedures while increasing their efficiency.

Patient specific dosing contrast delivery systems and methods

This invention relates generally to the field of medical devices for delivering contrast media during medical diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures and more particularly, this invention relates to improved contrast media delivery systems and methods of use which allow adjustment of contrast media concentration and injection parameters either before or during an injection procedure.

An insertable pickup probe and interface network for magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy. The pickup probe in the preferred embodiment is for use in imaging the male prostate and comprises an elongated shaft supporting a patient interface balloon at its distal end which contains a RF receiving coil. The interface balloon comprises an inflatable inner balloon enclosed by a flexible outer balloon. The receiving coil is positioned between the inner and outer balloons and placed intimately adjacent the region of interest by inflating the inner balloon to expand outwardly against the outer balloon. In addition, a non-stretchable planar material is provided on the surface on the inner balloon adjacent the receiving coil for ensuring that the receiving coil is placed adjacent the region of interest. The inner balloon is inflated by an inflator cuff connected to the shaft and communicated to the inner balloon by a first lumen in the shaft. The receiving coil is electrically connected to an interconnecting cable which is connected to the proximal end of the shaft and communicated to the receiving coil by a second lumen in the shaft.

Intracavity probe and interface device for MRI imaging and spectroscopy

An insertable pickup probe and interface network for magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy. An interface network is also provided which receives the interconnecting cable of the pickup probe and includes impedance matching means, tuning means, and decoupling means for interfacing the probe with a magnetic resonance imaging scanner. In addition, the interface includes an electronic circuit for automatically adjusting the control voltage of a varactor diode in a Pi network which comprises the tuning means.

The chucking system is used with a machine tool having a spindle which drives a chuck. The chuck-tightening sleeve can be locked to the machine tool frame so that rotation of the spindle causes tightening or loosening of the chuck, depending upon direction of spindle rotation. In this way, key-locking of the chuck is avoided.

Keyless chucking system

Parking meter carries photosensor directed at the controlled parking space. The operator of a parked car energizes the meter by coin insertion and meter cranking and thus activates the photosensor. When the vehicle is moved out of the parking space, the photosensor detects the movement and resets the parking meter to zero.

Self-cancelling parking meter

Automobile shock absorber is locked by this structure which includes a yoke clamped on the larger upper shell of the shock absorber and a collar pivoted thereon and embracing the lower piston shell. When solenoid tilts the collar, it locks the shock absorber piston shell against extension.
