A wall assembly is provided for a gas turbine engine. This wall assembly includes a support shell with a contoured region; and a multiple of liner panels mounted to the support shell. At least one of the multiple of liner panels includes an end rail. The contoured region is deformable to selectively contact at least a portion of the end rail. A method of assembling a wall assembly within a gas turbine engine is also provided. This method includes locating a stud that extends from a cold side of a liner panel through a support shell; and attaching a fastener onto the stud to at least partially close a gap defined between the panel and shell.

An housing is configured for connection to the raceway panels by removing the concrete above the raceway panel, cutting a hole in the raceway panel, and securing the housing in the hole in the raceway panel. Alignment clips allow the afterset housings to be ganged together to form an integral afterset assembly. Each alignment clip is configured to slidably engage with a pair of the afterset housings. In one embodiment, the afterset housing includes a preset housing that is normally configured for connection to the raceway panel prior to pouring of the concrete floor, and an adapter connectable to the preset housing and being constructed to reconfigure the preset for use as an afterset housing which is adapted for connection to the raceway panel following pouring of the concrete floor.

Housings for underfloor raceways

A device bracket, or outlet box assembly, has openings for receiving projecting portions of an electrical outlet device, or other socket defining device, such that one of these projecting portions can be hooked in place by the installer, so that the other projecting portion can be pushed into place in a one handed installation step. The said other projecting portion being resiliently deformable so as to latch into place.

Electrical outlet assembly

A raceway separated into multiple wireways by a dividing element is presented, said dividing element being supported by divider clips having an intermediate &ldquo;U&rdquo; shape to envelope three sides of the dividing element. Raceway base sections are joined by a raceway coupling particularly adapted to lie along the sidewall of each raceway base section being joined so as not to interfere with the dividing element.

Divided raceway

A compartmentalized electrical outlet box defines side-by-side forwardly open compartments for receiving power leads, data lines and telecommunication cables from inside a wall structure. These leads will be connected to corresponding conductors in a raceway that has at least two separated wireways defined in a base channel. Access openings are provided in staggered relationship at the rear wall of the raceway channel so as to be aligned with the compartments in the outlet box.

Assembly for accommodating power and data lines from inside a wall structure to a surface mounted raceway

A preset is provided for providing access at selected locations to an underfloor electrical distribution system of the type consisting of at least one raceway panel adapted to be positioned in a concrete floor. The raceway panel defines an interior passage adapted to carry service cables and has an exterior wall defining a preset opening that provides access to the interior passage. The presets can be located at any location where an opening is punched in the raceway panel, with 12 inch or 24 inch intervals being mostcommon. The preset includes a housing having an interior compartment, a concrete cap, and a knockout section. The concrete cap and the knockout section can be removed to provide access to the interior compartment of the preset housing. The knockout is positioned to align with and lockingly engage with the preset opening to secure the preset to the raceway panel during pouring of the concrete floor. Upon hardening of the concrete floor, the concrete above the preset can be broken away to permit removal of the concrete cap. The knockout can then be removed to provide access to the interior passage of the raceway panel through the preset. Alignment clips are provided for securing and aligning presets carried by adjacent raceway panels. The side walls of the preset are beveled inwardly such that the base of the preset is larger than the top. This design further restricts vertical movement of the preset after the concrete has hardened.

Preset insert housing for underfloor raceways

A raceway for both power and data communication wiring has a base with at least two forwardly open wireway channels that can be covered with covered segments that snap onto the base between outlet boxes of several different styles. These outlet boxes each have a back plate that snaps onto the raceway base so the base can be provided continuously along the wall without having to be cut to fit between outlet box locations. This outlet box back plate is made to receive the outlet box cover in a snap-on mode as well. The device or devices to be put in the outlet box are also capable of being snapped into place.

Wire containment system for mounting on a wall structure

An electrical ceiling fan is supported from a two piece surface mounted outlet box. The outlet box back plate has two threaded fasteners that hold threaded posts, and that extended downwardly through holes in the outlet box cover. The fan has an adaptor plate that is also supported on these fasteners. The surface mounted outlet box has knock outs to facilitate assembly with surface mounted raceway.

A modular faceplate assembly having a faceplate and at least one modular panel received and supported within a frontal opening in the faceplate and releasably secured to the faceplate by concealed latches hingedly connected to the modular panel rearward of the faceplate for flexure between latching and releasing positions relative to keepers carried by the faceplate and resiliently biased to said latching positions. When the latches are in latching positions latch operators carried by the latches form closures for latch operating apertures opening through the frontal surface of the faceplate assembly. Cam surfaces on the latch operators facilitate operation of the latches to release the panel from the faceplate in response to insertion of an operating tool into the latch operating apertures.

Modular faceplate assembly having concealed latching means

A blind insert having a compressible plastic bushing having a flange at one end which merges into a first cylindrical portion and a second reduced diameter cylindrical portion at the other end. A metallic end cap is secured on the free end of the plastic bushing and is spaced from the first cylindrical portion and the dimension of the first and second cylindrical portions are selected so that as a screw is inserted into the fastener the first cylindrical portion will bulge outwardly and rearwardly to extend over the open end of the cap to forcefully center the cap to prevent tearing of the bushing.
