An occlusive device includes a covering component configured to modulate passage of blood or thrombus therethrough, and an occlusion frame that includes a plurality of elongate occlusion frame members. The elongate occlusion frame members are arranged to form a generally disc-shaped member. The occlusion frame is at least partially covered by the covering component. The device further includes an anchor frame that includes a plurality of elongate anchor frame members. The device further includes a first hub component from which the elongate frame members extend, and a second hub component from which the elongate frame members extend.

Space filling devices

A device includes a plurality of elongate members, an occlusive component, and a support component. The occlusive component includes a plurality of first features each defined by a first portion of a respective elongate member. The support component includes a plurality of second features each defined by a second portion of the respective elongate member. A first termination element is defined by proximal end portions of the plurality of elongate members and located near a proximal end of the device, and a second termination element is defined by distal end portions of the plurality of elongate members and located near a distal end of the device. One or more anchor elements include a frame attachment portion and an anchor portion, the frame attachment portion including a first portion of a fixation elongate element wrapped around an elongate member, and the anchor portion including an anchor feature.

Deployment systems and methods are provided herein for percutaneous transcatheter deployment of medical devices. A medical device deployment system includes a body member and a body locking member that is configured to cooperatively engage along a portion of the body member such that the body member is releasably coupleable to a medical device.

Medical device deployment system

A device for occluding an aperture in a body of a patient includes a frame that includes a plurality of elongate members and a hub component that includes a plurality of attachment members, wherein for each elongate member of the plurality of elongate members a first end of the elongate member is fixedly attached to an attachment member of the plurality of attachment members at an attachment region. The frame and the hub component together form at least one occlusive element. Each receptacle of the plurality of attachment members is configured to pivot with respect to the hub component, such that each attachment region is movable with respect to the hub component.

Joint assembly for medical devices

A device frame includes a plurality of elongate frame members, first and second hub members substantially aligned along a longitudinal axis of the device frame, and a coupling element that couples the first hub member to the second hub member. The device frame includes a face section, a laterally facing skirt section, and an inverted section. First portions of the elongate members define the face section and extend radially from the first hub member. Second portions of the elongate members define the laterally facing skirt section and extend in a distal, axial, and helical direction along a first rotational direction from the face section. Third portions of the elongate members define the inverted section and extend in a generally proximal direction from a distal portion of the laterally facing skirt section to the second hub member along a rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction.

The present invention relates to materials having therapeutic compositions releasably contained within the materials. The materials are configured to release therapeutic compositions at a desired rate. The present invention also relates to devices incorporating the materials.

Drug eluting composite

A medical device delivery system includes an implantable medical device and a delivery device. The implantable medical device includes at least one attachment feature having an elastomeric element. The delivery device includes a catheter and an elongate element. The catheter is arranged to contact the elastomeric element, and the elongate element is arranged to releasably couple with the elastomeric element.

Implantable medical device deployment system

A drill cuttings diverter system for distributing downhole drill cuttings inside a cuttings box, where the drill cuttings diverter system is equipped with a diverter conduit having a bottom that is concaved toward a side opening. The diverter conduit is rotatably inserted through an opening in the cuttings box so that the operator can rotate the side opening at the bottom of the diverter conduit to change the direction of the drill cuttings being fed into the cuttings box, and thereby prevent the drill cuttings from accumulating in a single pile inside the cuttings box.

Drill cuttings diverter system

A highly flexible implantable lead that offers improved flexibility, fatigue life and fatigue and abrasion resistance improved reliability, effective electrode tissue contact with a small diameter and low risk of tissue damage during extraction. In one embodiment the lead is provided with both defibrillation electrodes and pacing/sensing electrodes. For defibrillation/pacing leads, the lead diameter may be as small as six French or smaller. The construction utilizes helically wound conductors. For leads incorporating multiple separate conductors, many of the helically wound conductors are arranged in a multi-filar relationship. Preferably, each conductor is a length of wire that is uninsulated at about the middle of its length to create an electrode, wherein the conductor is folded in half at about the middle of the length to create first and second length segments that constitute parallel conductors.

Implantable lead

An occlusive device for left atrial appendage occlusion that has a membrane component configured to inhibit passage of blood and an expandable frame formed from a plurality of wires having a cupped occlusive component at least partially covered with the membrane component, one or more anchors with looped ends and a hub component. The occlusive device can be delivered percutaneously. The occlusive device is useful in the occlusion of the left atrial appendage.
