A distributed computing system includes at least first and second distinct computers each having a different operating system. First processes are compatible with the first operating system and second processes are compatible with the second operating system. A third scheduling computer, coupled to the first and second computer via a communication network, includes a scheduler for scheduling the first processes and the second processes to execute respectively on the first and second computers. The scheduler accesses a master schedule that defines an executing sequence of the first processes and the second processes. The master schedule can define conditional inter-relationships between the first processes and the second processes.

A method and system for generating and tracking an email campaign is described. An email campaign generator generates an email campaign template from an email target database. The email target database comprises at least one email target. An email campaign engine generates a custom email corresponding to each of the at least one email target. The custom email is formed from the email campaign template. The email campaign engine sends to each of the at least one email target the corresponding custom email. A campaign tracker receives at least one response corresponding to the sent custom email. The campaign tracker creates a campaign tracking list that includes the received at least one response.

A method and system for generating an email campaign is described. An email campaign generator generates an email campaign template from an email target database. The email target database comprises at least one email target. An email campaign engine generates a custom email corresponding to each of the at least one email target. The custom email is formed from the email campaign template. The email campaign engine sends to each of the at least one email target the corresponding custom email. A campaign tracker receives at least one response corresponding to the sent custom email. The campaign tracker creates a campaign tracking list that includes the received at least one response.

System and method related to generating an email campaign

A method of displaying information to a user upon startup of a program on a first computer. The method includes obtaining the information from a second computer and, upon startup of the program on the first computer, displaying the information. A method is described, where the program is a program that runs on a first computer. A second computer sends, over the network to first computer, information to be displayed to a user. A command is received to launch the program. After receiving the command to launch the program and without user intervention, at least a portion of the information is displayed. Without user intervention, the at least a portion of the information is removed. A method, wherein the information is obtained over a network is described, as well as wherein the network comprises the internet. An embodiment wherein the information is described in a flash screen is described.
