A capsule filling machine for filling capsules and a cleaning unit for use in a capsule filling machine are disclosed. The capsule filling machine includes at least two processing paths with a plurality of processing stations. One of the processing stations includes a cleaning unit. The cleaning unit has, for each of the at least two processing paths, a leadthrough path with a longitudinal axis for leading through capsules. At least one cleaning element for cleaning the capsules is arranged on each leadthrough path.

The disclosure relates to a capsule weighing device and to a capsule filling device having at least one such capsule weighing device. The capsule weighing device includes a measuring unit and a capsule measuring receiver for holding a capsule. The capsule measuring receiver is positioned at the side of the measuring unit with reference to the weight force direction and includes a capsule measuring channel which is continuous in the weight force direction and has a releasable locking mechanism for the capsule. The capsule filling device may include a receiving station for empty capsules and ejection station for filled capsules, wherein a first capsule weighing device is arranged on the input side of the receiving station for tare weighing, and wherein a second capsule weighing device is arranged on the output side of the ejection station for gross weighing.

A monitoring sensor for metered amounts of powder includes a sensor sleeve to channel the metered amount of powder through it and a sensor base body, in which the sensor sleeve is held interchangeably. A holding plate is attached to the interchangeable sensor sleeve. The sensor base body has a contact surface for the holding plate. The monitoring sensor includes a holding magnet for pressing the holding plate against the contact surface.

A device and a method are for weighing capsules having a filling. The device has a weighing unit having a receptacle, a transporter for transporting individual capsules to the weighing unit in a direction of movement, and a stopping device. The receiving section of the receptacle is configured as a friction support and is inclined with respect to a horizontal direction. Upon reaching the weighing unit, the capsule is stopped from moving in the movement direction via the stopping device and is deposited in the receiving section in an inclined manner such that a front end, with regard to the movement direction, of the capsule is located lower down than a rear end of the capsule, and such that the capsule comes to rest on the receptacle in this position and with regard to the direction of movement solely because of static friction. The capsule is then weighed.
