Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for performing external change detection without copying data from an external system. An embodiment operates by transmitting a registration request comprising data selection criteria to a data service at an external system. The external system generates a tracking token representing a transaction state of a data object satisfying the data selection criteria. The embodiment receives the tracking token. The embodiment detects a change to the data object in the external system using the tracking token. The embodiment receives the change to the data object from the external system based on the detecting. The embodiment then processes the change to the data object.

External change detection

A request associated with a functions that are provided by a server may be received from a client system. A subset of the functions that are provided by the server and that are available based on the request may be identified. Information based on the identified subset of functions may be generated. Furthermore, the information that is based on the identified subset of functions may be transmitted to the client system.

Discovery of server functions

A method, an apparatus and computer instructions are provided for mapping structured query language (SQL) schema to application specific business objects in an integration application environment. A SQL business object application specific information (BO ASI) builder is added to the business object application specific information (BO ASI) resolver. When a SQL markup language schema is parsed by a schema resolver, meta business objects (BOs) are generated with schema annotations, and the BO ASI resolver locates the SQL BO ASI builder that is able to handle the meta BOs. The SQL BO ADI builder then fills the ASI fields of the meta BOs and returned to a BO writer, which writes out application specific business objects understandable by the integration server.

Method and apparatus for mapping structured query language schema to application specific business objects in an integrated application environment

A computer program product is provided. The computer program product includes a computer useable medium having a computer readable program. The computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to generate a topology role in a topology role tier that is included in a topology pattern. Further, the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to create a component in a component tier that is defined in the topology pattern such that the component corresponds to the topology role. In addition, the computer readable program when executed on a computer causes the computer to map the topology role to a deployment target.

Method and system for topology modeling

A computer program product comprises a computer useable medium. The computer useable medium has a computer readable program such that when the computer readable medium is executed on a computer, the computer is caused to configure an interceptor at a service invocation point corresponding to a component service of a software application. Further, the computer is caused to record, at the interceptor, data in a trace file. The data is associated with a service invocation at the service invocation point. Finally, the computer is caused to provide the trace file to a service level debugger that navigates through the trace file.

Method and system for providing post-mortem service level debugging

Provided is a method, for using schemas to generate application specific business objects for use in an integration broker. A schema is accessed defining an application specific data structure for one application. A business object is generated including fields corresponding to elements and attributes indicated in the accessed schema. A determination is made of application specific information for the generated business object indicating a correspondence of the fields in the business object to the application specific data structure. The business object is written out with the determined application specific information in a format that is understandable to an integration broker that communicates business objects to a plurality of applications, wherein the business object is capable of being processed by an adapter enabling communication with the application for which the accessed schema is provided.
