The present invention is directed to a carrier for an automobile with integrated active ducting. The carrier includes at least one aperture, and at least one louver rotatably mounted in the aperture. Also attached to the carrier is an actuator, and the actuator is connected to the louver. The actuator is operable for moving the louver between an open position and a closed position such that when the louver is in the open position, air flow passes through the aperture.

A projector assembly having a projecting device and a display screen with a film. The display screen is changeable from between opaque and transparent and the projecting device selectively rear projects an image onto the film such that the image is visible to a user generally from the front side of the screen. When the projector is off or the projection of images is otherwise stopped under predetermined conditions, the screen becomes transparent to provide the user a clear view through the display screen. When the projector is off power is simultaneously applied to the film which becomes transparent. A control device coordinates the application of power with the image projection, such that when the projected image is removed the screen becomes clear to see through the display screen, and when the projected image returns the screen becomes opaque for viewing the image.

The present invention is a component for providing alignment between at least two external components. The present invention is a bracket member having at least two attachment structures, and at least two externally visible components connected to the at least two attachment structures, and the at least two attachment structures provide adjustable positioning between the at least two externally visible components connected to the at least two attachment structures such that the position off the at least two externally visible components can be adjusted relative to one another.

In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a locating pin and a retention clip. The locating pin and the retention clip allow alignment of the front end module with the body structure and the retention clip secures the two assemblies in place which allows alignment of fastener holes. This conserves time in the assembly line and allows more accurate and rapid assembly of the front end module on the body structure reducing the time necessary for assembly.

Locator assembly

A connective system for connecting a first body to a second body having an aperture, is provided. The system includes a pin connected with the first body. The pin has a detent surface. A retainer ring having a snap fit engagement with the pin detent surface is provided. The retainer ring also has a locking arm for entry into the aperture of the second body with snap fit engagement with a surface of the second body thereby retaining the second body with said first body.

A running board support assembly () for fastening a running board step () to a vehicle includes a support bracket () for engagement with the running board step, and a mounting bracket () for coupling the support bracket () to the vehicle. The mounting bracket () includes a hooking end () and a pin (). The support bracket () includes a hook () for engagement with the hooking end (), and an aperture () for engagement with the pin (). When assembled, the hook () and the aperture () cooperate to tension the mounting bracket () and thereby secure the support bracket () to the mounting bracket ().
