An electronic device and a method for implementation for media file verification are disclosed. The electronic device receives first information associated with a first media file from each database of a plurality of databases. Each database of the plurality of databases is associated with a separate entity. The electronic device receives a second media file corresponding to the first media file. The electronic device determines a second information associated with the received second media file. The electronic device compares the first information received from each of the plurality of databases with one another. The electronic device determines the received first information as unaltered based on the comparison. The electronic device compares the first information and the second information. The electronic device determines the received second media file as unaltered. The electronic device renders verification information.

An electronic device including a display device configured to render first content. The electronic device is communicably coupled to the display device and controls one or more imaging devices to receive one or more images from the one or more imaging devices. In some implementations, a method includes displaying a live video of a scene on a device with a user interface overlay on top of the scene, wherein the user interface overlay includes one or more objects and includes one or more selectable controls. The method further includes receiving a selection of one or more new virtual points on a target object, wherein the target object is one object of the one or more objects in an image. The method further includes generating 3D polygonal data, wherein the 3D polygonal data is saved as a 3-dimensional (3D) model.

Implementations generally increase the virtual resolution of a camera sensor. In some implementations, a method includes moving an image sensor in a predetermined pattern, wherein the image sensor includes an array of light collecting elements, and wherein each light collecting element of the sensor array cycles through a plurality of positions in the predetermined pattern. The method further includes capturing a plurality of samples of light at each light collecting element, wherein each light collecting element captures a plurality of the samples in a cycle of movement in the predetermined pattern. Implementations generally relate to communication between a lens assembly and a camera. In some implementations, a method includes establishing electronic communication between a lens assembly and a camera, wherein the lens assembly is removably attached to the camera. The method further includes exchanging capability information between the lens assembly and the camera, wherein the capability information includes one or more functional features. The method further includes matching one or more of the functional features that both the lens assembly has and that the camera has. The method further includes enabling the lens assembly and the camera to cooperate in providing functional features based at least in part on the matching of one or more of the functional features.

A multichromic filtering coating is applied to a projector screen to pass to the projector screen substrate only those wavelengths produced by the projector, to accentuate selective wavelengths of light to be reflected by the screen. The screen can be a passive black substrate or an active grayscale screen such as e-ink paper, and un-reflected light reaches the screen which selectively tunes its grayscale to accentuate the brightness or darkness of the color video image being projected onto it.

A customer can install a lenticular projection screen without the need to hire a professional installer. A section of a home wall is smoothed flat and lenticular tiles are applied to it with adhesive together establishing a lenticular projection screen. Once the adhesive has dried, a short throw projector can perform an automatic alignment to gain the best possible picture from the lenticular screen. The installation material may be provided as a kit that a consumer can use to install the lenticular projection screen.

Tile-based lenticular projection screen

An overlay panel that includes a front display portion arranged over surface area of a display device. The overlay panel further includes a guiding portion that comprises light guides arranged in a specific pattern. The light guides are arranged such that an input portion of each light guide is aligned with pixels or sub-pixels of the display device and an output portion of each light guide is coupled to the front display portion. The arrangement of each light guide transfers an excitation, caused by the set of pixels or sub-pixels, from the input portion to the output portion and causes the front display portion to display an image that covers a bezel portion and the display portion of the display device. Each pixel in the image is scaled by an equal scaling factor with respect to each pixel in display portion.

A glass (or other transparent) substrate such as a window is used for large screen video projection to permit viewing at an outdoor location (or opposite side of the substrate) of a video projector's image directed from a location in the home. The projector image is sent through an articulated glass window pane (substrate). Alternately a projector such as an ultra short throw (UST) projector can be completely located behind the transparent glass pane located in a home separating two rooms. In either case, the video image can be projected onto the substrate when desired, and when no video is being shown the substrate functions as a window or displays window art as a wall covering.

To avoid requiring precise alignment between a projector and a projection screen, plural micro etched faceted grooves are provided for each area of the screen onto which a single pixel is to be projected. Each facet may be roughened, or gently curved, and the walls between adjoining facets likewise may be curved.
