Vehicle

A vehicle includes a chassis, a body, and a door assembly. The body is supported by the chassis, and defines a driver compartment and a cargo compartment. The driver compartment has a cab opening and the cargo compartment has a cargo opening. The door assembly is coupled to the body and provides selective access into the driver compartment and into the cargo compartment through the cab opening and cargo opening, respectively. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door. The first door is movable between a first position extending across the cab opening and a second position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening. The second door is movable between a third position extending across the cargo opening and a fourth position extending at least partially across a portion of the cab opening.

Door assembly for delivery vehicle

A vehicle includes a chassis, a body, and a door assembly. The body is supported by the chassis, and defines a driver compartment and a cargo compartment. The driver compartment has a cab opening and the cargo compartment has a cargo opening. The door assembly is coupled to the body and provides selective access into the driver compartment and into the cargo compartment through the cab opening and cargo opening, respectively. The door assembly includes a first door and a second door. The first door is movable between a first position extending across the cab opening and a second position extending across a portion of the cab opening. The second door is movable between a third position extending across the cargo opening and a fourth position extending across a portion of the cab opening.

Another embodiment of the invention relates to a vehicle. The vehicle includes a chassis supported by a plurality of wheels; an electronically controlled load handler supported by the chassis; a first transceiver located on the vehicle and configured to receive control signals configured to control the load handler; and a second transceiver located on the vehicle and coupled to the load handler. The first and second transceivers are configured transmit signals there between wirelessly and the second is further configured to transmit signals representative of the control signals to the load handler.

Wireless control system for a load handling vehicle

A self-purging auxiliary fluid supply system for supplying washout or makeup water or other fluids under pressure to a truck-mounted concrete mixing/dispensing drum is disclosed. The system includes a truck-mounted fluid reservoir for containing a quantity of fluid connected to supply fluid to an air-operated diaphragm pump connected to supply auxiliary fluid from the fluid reservoir under pressure to a discharge assembly. The pump further provides an integral purge system for displacing fluid in the fluid supply system after use.

Auxiliary water tank and pump assembly for a concrete mixing vehicle

A concrete vehicle is described herein which includes a chassis, a concrete handling system, a vehicle subsystem control system, and a wireless communication system configured to communicate with an off-board electronic device. The subsystem control system includes status information for a plurality of vehicle parameters. The wireless communication system is used to communicate status information pertaining to at least one vehicle parameter to the off-board electronic device when the vehicle parameter breaches a threshold.

Control system and method for a concrete vehicle

A light weight but strong extension chute for discharging concrete from a concrete transportation vehicle or a cement mix plant. An extension concrete chute comprising a chute assembly including a frame having a first end and a second end, with each end including an arcuate end angle member maintained in a spaced apart relationship by a pair of chute rails attached to each end angle member. The chute assembly also includes a chute skin mounted within the frame and attached to each chute rail and each end angle member, wherein the chute assembly defines a longitudinally elongated concave chute. A removable aligner is mounted within the chute assembly adjacent to the chute skin. Each chute rail is provided with a hook mounted on each chute rail proximate the second end of the chute assembly and a bracket assembly mounted on each chute rail proximate the first end of the chute assembly. The chute rails are configured to releaseably engage and support the liner. The extension chute can also be provided with an elongated channel attached to each end angle member and to the chute skin underneath the extension chute. The chute rails can also be configured in conjunction with a liner flange to form a liner pocket to receive the liner and removably retain the liner within the extension chute.

Discharge chute for concrete

A light weight but strong extension chute for discharging concrete from a concrete transportation vehicle or a cement mix plant. An extension concrete chute comprising a chute assembly including a frame having a first end and a second end, with each end including an arcuate end angle member maintained in a spaced apart relationship by a pair of chute rails attached to each end angle member. The chute assembly also includes a chute skin mounted within the frame and attached to each chute rail and each end angle member, wherein the chute assembly defines a longitudinally elongated concave chute. A removable liner is mounted within the chute assembly adjacent to the chute skin. Each chute rail is provided with a hook mounted on each chute rail proximate the second end of the chute assembly and a bracket assembly mounted on each chute rail proximate the first end of the chute assembly.

A front discharge concrete vehicle includes a chassis having a front end and a rear end, a mixing drum supported by the chassis having a first end and a second end, a support column extending between the chassis and the second end of the drum to support the second end of the drum and a cab enclosure supported by the chassis below the second end of the drum. The cab enclosure includes an integrally formed housing extending about a first operator station and a second operator station. The cab enclosure further includes at least one control member between the first and second operator stations and an opening extending between the first and second operator stations. The opening extends below the at least one control member to enable the at least one control member to be accessed from both the first operator station and the second operator station.
