A system and a method are disclosed for context-based verification flows for digital identity verification. A context-based verification system provides flexible identification procedures for various enterprises that adapted to the enterprises' services, the enterprises' customers, and these customers' needs. For example, the context-based verification system determines a first and second verification flows associated with a first enterprise and a third verification flow associated with a second enterprise. These verification flows include context parameters and verification parameters. The context-based verification system determines context parameters of a request, or 'request context parameters,' when a user requests to interact with the first enterprise and determines a verification flow associated with context parameters that substantially match these request context parameters. The context-based verification system may determine that the first verification flow's context parameters substantially match the request context parameters and use the first verification flow's verification parameters to verify the user's identity.

Improved shampoos and conditioners are disclosed which provide enhanced rinseability, wet feel, detangling, dry comb feel, style management, shine and/or body to human hair. This improved performance may be achieved by incorporation of fatty acid estolides into the shampoo or conditioner. Thus, the improved shampoos of this invention include aqueous compositions of a surfactant cleansing agent, and a thickener, in combination with one or more fatty acid estolides. Similarly, the improved conditioners of this invention include aqueous compositions of a hair conditioning agent in combination with one or more fatty acid estolides.

Esters of estolides derived from oleic acids are characterized by superior properties for use as lubricant base stocks. These estolides may also be used as lubricants without the need for fortifying additives normally required to improve the lubricating properties of base stocks.

A process for the isolation of simmondsins from jojoba meal is disclosed. Simmondsins are first extracted from defatted jojoba meal with water. After separation from the meal, this water extract is subsequently dried, leaving the simmondsins in the resulting solid. The simmondsins may then be preferentially extracted from the dried water extract by contact with a first ethanolic solvent, forming a first solvent fraction containing simmondsins therein. The first solvent fraction, which is a substantially protein-free concentrate of simmondsins, may be separated from the solid phase, and the ethanolic solvent may then be readily removed, for example, by drying. Residual simmondsins remaining in the meal following extraction with the first ethanolic solvent may also be recovered by a second extraction with ethanolic solvent. Optionally, simmondsin and its analogs, simmondsin ferulate, demethylsimmondsin, and didemethyl simmondsin, may be separated in substantially pure form from the extracts by reverse-phase HPLC.

Previously unrecognized polysaccharide products are extracted from either whole Lesquerella fendleri seed or commercially processed and oil-extracted seed meal or presscake or other seed material. Processes used include the steps of: (1) combining the seed material with an aqueous solution; (2) high speed stirring or sonification of the resultant seed material for the separation of the polysaccharide from the seed; and (3) isolation of the polysaccharide from the aqueous filtrate. The resultant polysaccharides are highly polymeric and enhance solution viscosities over a wide range of pH, bleaching and salt conditions.

Powdered and crumb rubber are prepared by dispersing in a starch alkoxide paste appropriately sized particles of wet curd from the precipitation of a latex emulsion, and then insolubilizing the paste by treatment with select bivalent cations. The result is a starch adduct encasing the particulate elastomer, thereby preventing agglomeration and congealing upon storage.

An improved process is used to prepare encased powdered elastomers which replace slab rubber in injection molding formulations and thereby eliminates the need for milling and high shear mixing. A composition is obtained which is easily blended and is capable of being automatically fed to injection molding machines, and which contains less encasement compound than prior art powdered elastomers having similar nonagglomerating and free-flowing properties.
