A breathing aid for an infant is adapted for delivery of inhalable medication in a gentle flow to an area immediately adjacent the baby's nasal passageway. An oral member formed as a pacifier carries a hollow tube, the open top end of which extends just above the upper rim of the mouth guard of the pacifier. A swivel connector secured to the bottom of the tube allows easy adjustment of the position of the breathing aid in relation to the mouth guard and to a connecting hose, through which oxygen or other medication is delivered.

A silicone rubber binder composition is provided which includes silicone rubber, silicon dioxide and an aggregate such as sand, gravel, cinders and the like. The silicone rubber is preferably an RTV silicone rubber which is solubilized using a solvent and mixed with the silicon dioxide and aggregate. The mixture may be spray applied to form a roofing coating or may be molded to form another building element such as a beam, post, block, shingle, wallboard or the like.

Silicone binder material and products formed therefrom

A silicone rubber binder composition is provided which includes silicone rubber, silicone dioxide and an aggregate such as sand, gravel, cinders and the like. The silicone rubber is preferably an RTV silicone rubber which is solubilized using a solvent and mixed with the silicone dioxide and aggregate. The mixture may be spray applied to form a roofing coating or may be molded to form another building element such as a beam, post, block, shingle, wallboard or the like.

An improved silicone rubber waterproofing composition having a low volatile organic chemicals content is the subject of the present invention. The composition comprises an RTV silicone rubber, a small but effective quantity of amyl acetate, and a solvent comprising mineral spirits and trichloroethane or its equivalent. The composition is highly penetrable, has a long residual life and is not subject to UV degradation. It meets the most stringent environmental regulations but is still economical to manufacture and exhibits low combustibility after curing.

Silicone based waterproofing material having low volatile organic

A method of transporting uncured RTV silicone rubber is the subject of this invention. The silicone rubber is placed in a container and a quantity of argon gas is then added to the container before it is sealed to prevent escape of the gas.

Method of transporting uncured RTV silicone rubber

The present invention relates to a roofing system employing a combination of silicone rubber layers. The method utilizes a first layer of silicone rubber which is applied directly to the substrate and is then overlaid by a membrane of silicone rubber impregnated fabric. The fabric layer is placed in position before the first layer cures and is then overcoated with a second layer of silicone rubber which serves as a protective outer coating.

Single ply roofing system

A method and device for collecting solar energy is the subject of this application. A glass cloth coated with a light absorbing resinous material is utilized as the collector panel. A glass cloth coated with a translucent resinous material is the preferred material for a cover panel that is disposed in spaced relationship to the collector panel. A framework holds the two cloth layers in spaced planar relationship and a heat exchange medium is placed in contact with the collector panel. The device is used by placing it in direct sunlight, preferably at an angle to maximize the effects of the solar radiation. Radiation striking the light absorbing glass cloth is quickly dissipated by the glass fibers thereby heating the transfer medium. The resinous material, preferably black for the collector panel, provides a highly absorptive surface for the solar radiation and also protects the glass fiber of the cloth from deterioration as a result of radiation or corrosion.

Method and apparatus for collecting solar energy

An improved silicone rubber coating composition is the subject of the invention. A method of reducing the surface tension of cured silicone rubber compositions is also contemplated. By utilizing a silicone rubber polymer dissolved in a suitable solvent at 50-70% concentration, SiO.sub.2 may be introduced into the composition. SiO.sub.2 in a quantity of 90-110% by weight of the polymer solution is utilized. Pigment may be added at 1-2% of the total formula weight if desired. The silicone is preferably at least 95% pure with an average particle size of 9 microns or less.
