A suspended ceiling system (1) comprising a plurality of ceiling tiles and a grid (100) of profiles (40) for supporting the plurality of ceiling tiles, the grid (100) of profiles (40) comprising at least a first and a second profile (40) configured to be interconnected along a longitudinal axis, the first and second profile (40) each comprising two laterally extending flanges (43) and an upstanding web (44) provided with a bulb (41) at its free end, wherein each of the first and second profile (40) has a curved extension and is configured to be installed such that it, in an installed and unloaded condition, bulges in an upward direction.

Suspended ceiling system and method for installing thereof

A method for coating a tile element includes providing a tile element made of a compressed fibre material having a porosity in the range of 0.92-0.99 and applying a water-based coating material to a side edge surface of the tile element extending between two opposite major surfaces of the tile element. The applying is performed by an applicator head of a continuous vacuum coating apparatus that applies the water-based coating material to the side edge surface of the tile element and removes excess through a vacuum. The water-based coating material is applied at a feeding rate of the tile element relative the applicator head in the range of 25-150 m/min. The water-based coating material forms a coating layer including an outer coating layer and an inner coating layer penetrating the side edge surface. The inner coating layer has penetration depth of at least 100 &#x3bc;m.

Method for coating a tile element

A method for manufacturing a profile member for a suspended ceiling system, comprising forming a sheet metal material into an elongate T-shaped profile member with a web having two web side walls and a pair of oppositely disposed flanges projecting from a bottom portion of the web, and laser welding the elongate T-shaped profile member for providing a laser weld joint extending in a longitudinal direction of the T-shaped profile member and joining the two web side walls to each other. The step of laser welding comprises alternatingly performing a first operation and a second operation, the second operation being different from the first operation, whereby a laser weld joint is provided comprising along its extension alternating welded first sections associated to the first operation and second sections associated to the second operation. The present invention also relates to an elongate profile member provided with a laser weld joint.

Profile member and method for manufacturing thereof

An absorber tile element includes compressed mineral fiber material and has a first major surface, an opposing second major surface and at least one side edge surface, and an anchor element associated with one of the first and second major surface or one of the at least one side edge surfaces. The anchor element includes a head portion and a threaded portion, the head portion defining an open cavity facing a top surface. An engagement member is arranged in the cavity, and arranged to engage with a hook element. The threaded portion is threaded into the absorber tile element such that the head portion becomes substantially recessed in the absorber tile element. A corresponding tile system can includes the absorber tile element.
