A fastening element for interconnecting first and second components produced from different materials includes a metal strip and at least two fastening clips or lugs located in a common plane. An elastic bend compensating for longitudinal changes between the two fastening clips or lugs and a fastening point for the second component are disposed between the fastening clips or lugs.

A method for limiting the angle between the longitudinal axes of car bodies of a multi-part rail vehicle connected to each other via a joint, wherein each car body is supported on only one bogie. The angle is actively influenced by an electrically controlled activation member connected to the joint, until the angle assumes a setpoint value. The setpoint value is determined from the pivot angles (relative angles) of the bogies relative to the associated car bodies.

An structurally simplified actuation mechanism for swinging an aircraft door from a frame on an aircraft fuselage. The actuation mechanism includes a cantilever rotatably mounted to the frame and including a receiving region, a universal joint supported in the receiving region, and an actuation device disposed on the cantilever. The universal joint defines a vertical axis of rotation and is configured to receive a door fitting. The actuation device includes an output drive connected to the universal joint at the vertical axis of rotation.

Actuation mechanism for swinging an aircraft door

An emergency opening cylinder of a passenger door of an airplane is provided. An existing emergency opening cylinder is adapted at the lowest expenditures and with an insignificant increase in weight with respect to its operating characteristic to the load situation of an emergency opening of the door against the force of gravity. A ventilation bore of the emergency opening cylinder leads into a collecting chamber which has an outlet valve controllable by a control.
