An exhaust air dryer having a housing that encloses an inner space, wherein the following structures are arranged in the inner space: a drying chamber for items to be dried; a supply air duct between a first supply air inlet and the drying chamber to supply air; a heater to heat the supply air in the supply air duct; a fan to guide heated supply air through the drying chamber; and an exhaust air duct arranged between the drying chamber and an exhaust air outlet on the housing to exhaust air. The fan is a dual-flow fan having a first flow path and a second flow path, wherein the first flow path is arranged in the exhaust air duct and the second flow path is arranged in the supply air duct.

A domestic appliance includes an open air duct and a flow cross-section adjuster in the air duct for adjusting a flow cross-section of the air duct. The flow cross-section adjuster includes rotatably mounted blades for noise dampening purpose. The air duct and the flow cross-section adjuster are in a cooling air inflow region relative to a heat exchanger or a compressor of the domestic appliance.

The first section which is located at the wall area is formed by a profile part placed on the wall area and is covered by a hood placed in sealing fashion on the wall area. A fan is arranged in the process air circuit for circulating the process air, and a drying chamber is arranged in the process air circuit for holding objects to be dried. A heat pump is disposed in the housing and includes a heat sink which is thermally coupled to the process air circuit, and a heat source, which is thermally coupled to the process air circuit.

A first impermissible operating state is indicated if the number difference is greater than or equal to a value stored in the controller.

A dryer has a drying chamber to receive damp items and a process air duct to feed process air into and extract process air out of the drying chamber. The process air duct has a heat source and a heat sink to heat the process air before the process air enters the drying chamber and to cool the process air after the process air leaves the drying chamber, respectively. A cleaning device has an accumulator for a liquid; a rinsing line connected to the accumulator; a control organ in the rinsing line; a distributor connected to the rinsing line to distribute the liquid conveyed through the rinsing line on a lint filter and to receive the lint caught by the lint filter; and a drain line to drain the liquid with the received lint away from the lint filter and towards the accumulator.

A condensation dryer is provided which has a heat pump in which a coolant circulates; a compressor; a temperature sensor to measure a temperature of the coolant; and a controller. The controller has a first comparator to compare the temperature of the coolant with an upper limiting temperature of the coolant; a switch to switch the compressor off if the temperature of the coolant is greater than or equal to the upper limiting temperature and to switch the compressor on after each compressor disconnection. The electric motor drives a fan during which an air flow created by the fan is heated by the first heater. A switch for opening or closing the second current path in response to an actual operating state of the electric motor is, in the second current path, connected in series to the first heater. The burner head projects into the inlet opening of the first heating channel and the outlet opening of the first heating channel projects into the inlet opening of the second heating channel. The first heating channel is disposed in the lower section of the second heating channel so that a uniform temperature distribution is achieved in the second heating channel.
