A valve includes a body defining first and second connection points, a valve slider, a spring, and a choke. The valve slider delimits first and second apertures to enable conduction of pressurized fluid from the first connection point to the second connection point via the first aperture, and is configured to move in an adjustment direction to close the first aperture. The choke is configured to enable conduction of pressurized fluid from the first connection point to the second connection point via the second aperture and via the choke. A first control point is defined between the choke and the second aperture. A second pressure at the first control point and a force of the spring pushes the valve slider in the adjustment direction, and a first pressure at the first connection point pushes the valve slider against the adjustment direction.

Valve with flow control and pressure limitation function

A hydraulic cartridge valve includes a sleeve with a longitudinal bore that forms a working port via an end opening. A plunger is accommodated for linear motion in the longitudinal bore. The sleeve is penetrated in an inlet port region by a first radial bore that extends radially with respect to a longitudinal axis of the hydraulic cartridge valve. The sleeve is penetrated in a return port region by a second radial bore that extends radially with respect to the longitudinal axis. A first fluid flow path extends from the inlet port to the working port and a second fluid flow path extends from the working port to the return port. The plunger has third and fourth radial bores that extend radially with respect to the longitudinal axis and form part of the first and second fluid flow paths, respectively.

Electronic module and method for the production thereof

The invention relates to a method for stabilizing a controller and to the use of that method for stabilizing a controller system in an internal combustion engine. It is proposed that the stability of the controller first be established or excluded, that the control characteristic of the controller be altered and that the stability be checked again, and that those steps be repeated in a loop. For use in internal combustion engines, it is proposed that the order of precedence for the stabilization be specified and optionally made dependent on external ambient parameters.
