A method and a device for managing software configurations of equipment of an aircraft, comprising a device for managing software configurations of equipment of the aircraft. The device for managing software configurations of equipment of the aircraft detects the availability of a communication link between a server on the ground and the aircraft, checks whether a configuration file is available and importing the configuration file, imports, from the server on the ground, one or more software updates identified in the configuration file and storage of the software update or updates in a temporary memory space; determines the instant as from which each update can be implemented, and demands the modification of the software configuration of the item or items of equipment with the software update or updates corresponding to the item or items of equipment.

Method and device for managing aircraft equipment software configurations

A method for the management and maintenance of an aircraft including a zone with a high degree of security, a man-machine interface of the aircraft being included in the zone with a high degree of security and necessary for a maintenance operation to be performed by a maintenance operator on a device of the aircraft to be maintained placed outside the zone with a high degree of security. The method includes: connection of a first device to the high-security zone; connection of a second device to a third device; reception of the first device by the second device of the man-machine interface of the aircraft and transfer of information for display of the man-machine interface of the aircraft to the third device; and connection of the second device to a server by means of the telecommunication network in order to obtain information from the server intended for the third device.

Method for the management and maintenance of an aircraft comprising a zone with a high degree of security

The present invention relates to the field of access to a high-security network, and more particularly to a device allowing secure access, for example for management and maintenance operations. There is described a connection device making it possible to connect any maintenance apparatus to a high-security network without compromising the trust of the system. The device contains a client of the maintenance application package only the inputs-outputs of which are offloaded onto the maintenance apparatus. It has authentication means and means for performing a protocol break between the maintenance apparatus and the high-security system. In this way, only said connection device needs to be trusted and the maintenance may be effected from any terminal.
